>> Their office is located in a serviced office at takashimaya. Doreen attended to me, asking me to fill up the details. She mentioned that either her manager or herself will come and attend to us. When I hand over my hard disk, Mr Tetsu Kobayashi was attending to me. He seemed a little inexperienced but I did not think much about it. I just wanted to recover my data from my hard disk. He informed me that the hard disk is recoverable and he specifically mentioned that there are only some scratches on the hard disk. So he provided me with three different quotations 3 days, 5 days and 7 days recovery. I chose the 7 days recovery. They made me sign a quotation and no money was paid. When I left the office, I suddenly recalled that he didn't get me to sign any non-disclosure agreement. I called the office, Doreen Teo (Data Recovery Consultant) answered and defended for Mr Tetsu, saying that if client does not request, they usually will not let the client sign. Furthermore she explained that he was new here and he did not know the procedure. She said to meet her again and she will have the non-disclosure agreement ready. I signed the non-disclosure agreement and mentioned that this should be a common practise to all clients. On the 5th day, Doreen called to say they need to order a spare part from Japan and it will take another 2 weeks to deliver my hard disk and she asked if she may proceed. I refused because it was taking longer than I agreed to. I retrieved my hard disk back and she cancelled the agreement and returned them to me. When I hand over my hard disk to another company, they opened up and said otherwise. They said the hard disk is badly scratched now and it was beyond recovery. (Was it badly scratched in the first place and Tetsu had lied about the condition? Or was it scratched after I cancelled my order?) When I rang up Doreen and wanted to understand and clarify Tetsu's statement when he said the hard disk was recoverable and there was only a few scratches. I asked to speak to the manager, she said Tetsu was the manager and when I requested for the supervisor of Tetsu, she replied that they are sitting in the Japan headquarter. Naturally, I said to provide me with the information of the supervisor then. She reiterated that, "Before you wish to speak to our headquarter, do you want to speak to our Japanese counterpart here?". (She seemingly try to portray a different image of her company, trying to act like there were more people working in Singapore) When I asked if it was Tetsu, she said yes. I told her that I was not interested in speaking to him, I wish to speak to the supervisor of Tetsu and I insisted of getting their Japanese headquarter's contact, Doreen Teo just ended the call with,"If you don't wish to speak to our Japanese counterpart, then too bad" and she hang up the call. They are not honest in their dealing; getting a Japanese guy to act as a manager to enhance the impression. I have no trust in their business dealing. Please do not make the same mistake as I had. Stay clear of this company.

Mr Tetsu is an inexperienced and dishonest person. He lies about how his business is conducted! I am a visitor from United States whom needed help.in data recovery. I greatly suspect these unscrupulous business people saw that chance to fleece me and quoted me $4500 to recover my data! It is fortunate I saw the review from the other lady that I decided to collect back my drive. Sadly, as my drive's seal was already broken and my external casing badly mutilated, I am having diffculty now looking for another data recovery vendor to accept my case. I have learnt my lesson to properly choose a more reliable data recovery vendor to recover my important data in the future.
