★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suddenly, craved for mee siam and 五香 after few hours of sports. So, it’s back to Tekka Centre to look for Grandma. Other reasons: her stall is next to a good coffee stall, and is opposite a western dishes stall. I love them all♥️

So, I seek simple comfort and solace at Grandma Mee Siam. Trustworthy, reliable, not the best but it w b there (hopefully, no future crisis can knock her out of the food business).

One of those few stalls left that still serves the pinkish sweet dipping sauce. The dipping sauce balances the dryness of the prawn fritters and that brings the joy of eating to the next level!
Try the prawn cake and tau-kwa which is softer than most stalls. I also like the Bee Hoon although I would prefer it to be less oily.
Very friend lady stall owner. That's the best part when visiting this stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not One Of e Best 五香虾饼 I Would Opt For Specially But Would Visit Regularly As e "Ah Ma" Is So Hospitable... e Only Flaws w These Fried Fritters Are Missing A Good Blend Of Her Chilli Sauce I Think~ And... Last But Not Least, e Old "Ah Ma" Style Mee Siam Brings Me Back To My School Days Canteen Food Too... ??? Very Nostalgic Taste To Maintain As They Are Hard To Find Nowadays... ? 加油↖(^ω^)↗ 阿嫲 ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auntie had been helping her grandma in the past and took over from her. She had been selling fried fitters and Mee siam for more than 20 years, now. Tried her Mee siam and some fried fritters. The Mee sian taste is not very strong but just nice for me. I find the bee hoon noodle not soft enough. Her fritters were self made and taste good too. Worth a try!
