Best Korean grocery store in Singapore

A	Ang Michelle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tried the jjampong, jjajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk & they all really hit the spot ! super flavourful soup, and the noodles were nicely cooked as well… and the pork was sooo crispy and easy to bite even though they came in huge chunks ( which made it super substantial as well :D ) only thing is i wished it was more accessible … really a hidden gem heheh

I like the wok hey smell and taste in the soup (the hint of smokiness) which make it much tastier and unique. The seafood and mushroom are fresh! The ramen is different from the other restaurants that I have tried. Smoothly and slightly chewy. What a good lunch (: Price is at the pricier side if you compare it with the neighbouring stalls in the area. Hence at one look, I think most ppl might get a tad turn off with the price. But let’s not compare an apple with a durian. Note to the chef: Thanks for the good food. Please keep it up and do not give up your stall, haha.. Hwaiting!!

The jjajangmyeon has a beautiful hint of smokiness and the noodle texture is superb. The kimchi soup as well as the Soon dubuque soups are very tasty but not overpowering. And the tangsuyuk is brilliant. Served hotly fried....just byo your own soju!
K	Karen Ho on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ had a good lunch at jeong’s jjajang! ordered the jajangmyeon ($8) and added more noodles ($2) so that it could be comfortably shared between 2 persons. ordered the tangyusuk ($10) as well. both dishes were quite good for its price point. the jajangmyeon used freshly made noodles so it was quite springy and delicious. the sauce was not like those that i had at obba, it thinner, less oily and less savoury but overall was still a good bowl of noodles. the tangyusuk caught us by surprise because the sauce was very gingery & sweet. my partner didn’t really fancy it but i liked both flavours so i enjoyed dipping it into the sauce. only slight issue is that they use rather lean chicken so there isn’t that juicy or tender texture when you bite into it, but nevertheless the rlly nice and crispy batter makes up for it. overall was a good experience, would come again to try the other dishes ??

Awesome and authentic Jjajangmyeon, Jjampong and Tangsuyuk. Ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The portion served were generous and piping hot. The boss was really friendly. The dishes were much more delicious and affordable than many Korean restaurants along the Tanjong Pagar shophouses. Less crowd and waiting time too. A must visit at Bukit Merah. Thank you for bringing delicious food and some life to the quiet Bukit Merah Central! ???
K	K Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked in at a corner of Blk 161 Bukit Merah Central, in a coffee shop. Baekjjampong $10 (spicy & non-spicy) both are good. Fragrant soup base. Tangsuyuk $12 is crispy & crunchy. Taste good. Mandu $5 (6 pcs) Big dumpling with crispy skin & delicious fillings.
