★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked him 3 times for extra chilli inside the popiah. He did not do it. His tiny amount of chilli does not go well with how much he packs his popiah. I’m so so so annoyed. He just ignores customer’s requests. That’s really not cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Speaking with the owner, I understand this is a hidden treasure in Joo Chiat. He is the 3rd or 4th generation owner of this stall. The flavour is consistently rich and tasty. And for the price of $1.50 per roll, I find it the perfect snack even after a meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem of Katong, at Dunman Food Centre. Each popiah is $1.70 piece of joy and indulgence. I prefer to have it with a pinch of chili. Great afternoon snack to have, or when I don’t feel like stuffing myself with a full meal. Bring your own container to pack, save the environment!
