Went down on a Sat afternoon at 4.45pm and there was no queue (queue starts forming around 5.30pm onwards). Had the signature combo and was totally satisfied. The soup was flavourful and comforting and the true test of the efforts behind creating the broth was the fact that I was not thirsty after slurping down every drop. I particularly enjoyed the chewiness of the kway and the prawn balls. A simple dish elevated by a Masterchef indeed!! Highly recommended ??

Went by during lunch time and there was no queue. Ordered the $5.50 All in one Mee Hoon Kway dry version which comes with minced pork, pork slices, pork ball, shrimp ball and ikan bilis. Portion for Mee Hoon Kway is abit little. Overall taste not so bad.

My go-to place to fix a MHK craving. Handmade noodles, thick and well cooked. Broth has a bit of a smoky flavor, really interesting. Chili is acidic enough to cut through the fattiness of their minced pork. ??

Randomly walked past post vaccination, whole hunting for lunch. This was a random walk in. Situated prominently in the center of the food center and having banners. It is not difficult to spot this stall. Now about the food, I believe the chef said it best on youtube. He is not reinventing the dish, just making good tasty food with efficient cooking methods. I think it should taste awesome if consume at site. Will go again on my next vax appointment date. Give it a try when in the area, just a short throw from the cc.

Nothing makes a good Ban Mian than freshly made noodles and great tasting broth and this place has them both! The richness in the flavour of the soup plus the texture of the freshly cut noodles which taste great as well made it a really satisfying meal. The egg was a little under done and the meatball was forgettable but the mincemeat and prawn ball hit the mark. Plus good service and let’s support our new young hawkerpreneurs!

Seriously, this stall franchise needs to look at their system. I queued up for more than 15mins, there were only 2 people in front of me trying to place their orders. After their order was taken, I was just left standing there with no one bothering to take my order. While waiting patiently, I couldn’t help buy notice the shop was very dirty. There were flies landing on the dough for the noodles. I couldn’t accept the dirty condition of the food and I left without ordering. I have tried to be a fair reviewer after my bad experience with Jiak Song at Bugis. However, it seems that the bad service seems to be prevalent in both shops. I don’t think I can visit other Jiak Song shops at all.

Guess it's not my day.. the soup 'Chao Ta' (burnt) taste is so strong?.. think the pot is burnt before cooking my mee hoon kway.. thus couldn't really comment on the soup original taste. Overall the kueh is chewy, the pork are tender and the Shrimp ball is crunchy? #msgreedysis #greedybuddiez... (Thanks for your reply and glad to know that its not a mistake... the taste is really unique and sorry for not being able to appreciate?from the beginning)

Tried the stall today to see if what’s the fuss about. Could use bigger portions though especially greens. Soup is unique with charred taste and meatball is homemade and fresh. Was a bit thirsty after the soup drinking so I suppose there’s a fair amount of Msg. All in all a decent rendition of the dish. Will give it a go when I see it again.
