My this review is for December 2020. The Joo Chiat Noodle was surprisingly GOOD. Long Queue sometimes doesn't mean the food is delicious especially the TV show recommend/review. Well for this Joo Chiat Noodle was Good. The Fish Ball was tasty and the noodle was good too. The fish ball i guess it was hand made. Very TENDER...

My first reaction after trying it finally. “CHEY....” Always see them long queues at the bedok hawker center of 216... this morning I had some time to queue. Bought 4 packets $4 and a packet of fishball soup after a long wait. My verdict: noodles are bland, and gave too much. No vegetables at all. Fishballs are too soft and not springy. Taste so-so. Soup is nothing to shout about either. Certainly my family don’t like it at all. Given the unknown reason why long queues I reckon it’s just a peer thing. Won’t be trying again. The worst Teochew noodles I’ve eaten. Even my last hope that the soy sauce w chilli padi could save the noodles... it tasted overly salty too! I am a Teochew mee and bak chor mee fan actually.

Great fishball noodles with fresh ingredients and good flavors. The fishballs are freshly made and has a nice bite and bounce. Soup stock is very flavorful. Come early to avoid the long lines.

Always long queue. The sambal is really the killer! Super shiok!! Handmade fishballs taste ok. Will not queue more than 30 mins for this.

Fishball noodles that meet expectations. Not outstanding and mind blowing in any way, but nothing in particular to fault in the taste as well. Mee kia was cooked al dente. Pork lard, beansprouts (basically the essentials to complete a bowl of dried fishball noodles) were offered. Sauce was normal, you can choose not to add vinegar. Fishballs were springy and handmade. Not bland and over peppery like some stalls out there, they had the right balance of savoury. But I felt thirsty after having the meal.

You can always see long queue for this stall and there's strong reason why. The fishball is bouncy and doesn't have the artificial taste which is common in other fishball. The chili with the mee pok is really great and I could even see some tiny dried shrimp in it. With $4, you'll have a good portion of mee pok with generous amount of fishball, meatball (?), and a fish dumpling. The soup is nice too

Really goos fish ball noodle, balanced in taste and the noodles is not overcooked. Sambal is not too spicy but adds alot of flavor to the dish. Fishball taste hand made and is bouncy and chewy.

Expect queue at this stall, at least half hour. Above average fish ball noodle. Very good fish balls, salted just nice and no fishy taste. The rest is average. Good enough for me to queue if in this region.
