Time to take my business somewhere else. A little smile & some thank yous would be nice though it's a little too late. Bye.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest, sincere shopkeepers. As they are an elderly couple doing business in the old-school traditional style, don't expect bright smiles and friendly greetings. They will give genuine advice when sought and won't push sales for the sake of making more from you. Bought a nice wall clock and am highly satisfied!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not risk bringing your watch for service here, especially if it is of sentimental value.
Brought my watch for a battery replacement, but the Auntie had problem opening the casing and pass it to the Uncle who also seem to have problem prying open the casing. I was concerned with the manner that they handled the watch and asked the Uncle if everything is okay, and he got upset and scolded me and ask me to take my watch back.
Luckily I did not proceed with the battery replacement. When I took back the watch, the area where they tried to pry open the casing was badly scratched and this is the first time this watch needs a battery replacement.
Went back to the shop to tell them about it and ended up getting shouted badly by both of them instead.
I should had just kept quiet about the damage instead of going back only to be shouted at.
Guess I should be thankful that it wasn't the face of the watch that got scratched...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought my brand new watch online. Went there with the watch to shorten the links. Didnt know they treat watches like armors and swords. They used hammers and wooden tables and knocked my brand new seiko tuna on the dirty wooden table and flip it there and here like its an actual tuna in the fish market. If I can post picture of my watch now i would. Scratches and DENTS everywhere. I bought my own link changing kit from a shop nearby after. Never letting them change my watch links again. Old farts are just waiting to "chop passport", so why will they care about your watch.
