★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanton Mee here is very nice! The noodle was very springy and the Char siew was really delicious as well! Be expected to queue for quite a while if your here in the morning since there is often a long queue here! Dumplings was really huge and delicious as well! Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another stall with a long queue when I was at the Toa Payoh west hawker centre was this stall selling wanton noodle. If you are climbing up the stairs, this is the first stall you would see. Unlike most stalls, you actually queue and make your purchase from the side of the stall.
A basic plate of wanton noodle starts from SGD$3.50 onwards. Apart from the standard wanton noodle, they also serve the wanton spinach noodle, dumpling and also braised chicken feet noodle. I joined the queue, and there were already at least 6 people infront of me.
Wanton noodle was average, but noodle was nicely cooked and texture was springy. Sauce could do with more seasoning. Their Charsiew are made in house, was dry and bland. The only thing that I really liked was the wanton which was well seasoned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am at the stall because of the queue I spotted previously. But unfortunately the jade noodle with char siew could not rate high on my chart. The noodle is springy okay, but i find the gravy too full of oil flavour to my liking. The pieces of char siew are dry (probably just my luck) but sufficiently soft. The wantons have flavourful filling but the skin is too thick and lumpy. Overall conclusion: There are plus and negative points and I may have to give it another visit to know if the negative points I encountered are just a momentary quality control issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken feet noodle for a Sunday lunch at Toa Payoh. Feet are made tasty. Noodle was thoroughly boiled.
Delicious !
Just be patient to join in the queue to get a bowl of the noodle on Sunday morning.

Honestly I tried my best to evaluate but can’t really give anything more than 3 stars except that the portion and the wonton is generous. However in terms of taste it can hardly earn beyond 2 stars. The char siew is hard and dry. Very faint char siew flavour. The noodle is tasteless and plain as well. The long queue is due to the speed to churn out each order don’t think is due to the popularity of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this noodle stall at Lor 1 Toa Payoh.
Definitely deserves to be given recognition for the dumpling noodles ( 水饺面 ) I have. I have a special crave for good dumplings. Not to give that the credit they deserves is doing them and all food lovers a disservice.
One thing worth mentioning for those first time patronizing this stall, the noodles are ordered from the side of the stall.
Looking from the front, it looked like a stall that is awaiting to open its business operations.
Definitely one of the need to go to stall if one yearns to eat good dumplings ( 水饺 ).
MUST NOT GIVE THIS STALL A MISS !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying from this stall. Went before peak hour lunch time to avoid long queue. Ordered the $4.50 version of the wanton mee. Noodles were nice and springy, chili spicy and flavourful enough to go along with the char siew which was very good. Soup was tasty and refreshing and wanton plump and nice. Will definitely come back to try other items on their menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down our favourite wan ton noodles stall! We’ve been going to their stall for a few years now and there’s always a queue even before they start. Their dumplings are so fat and juicy, packed with water chestnut, prawns, and black fungus.
We usually go for their jade noodles although their normal egg noodles are just as good. Chewy and cooked just right. Aunty and uncle usually opens after 8.30am so don’t be there too early! :)
