★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the fried fish soup and was utterly disgusted to fish out 4 small broken pieces of fried fish. Not my 1st time patronising this stall and have realised that their portion has reduced ridiculously over the years till to the point of unacceptable. Been a fan for years but I’m boycotting this stall! Oh and their service sucks especially the lady who always frowns at customers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have you noticed an increase in number of fish/ seafood soup hawkers in recent years? Not quite the traditional teochew style ones.. but bold with variety of higher value/ quality fish plus their 'secret formula' (minced pork, lobster, etc). I've been to this twice but was never fully convinced. Maybe the palette was expecting big flavours (like Yan Ji, Sin Kee), so I find them a tad bland and unexciting. But maybe the seniors might like it.

Recommend the fish soup at eunos hawker center n Market. At blk 4A. Eunos crescent. Fish soup base is unami n flavorful. Also the zhi char for sambal prawn n squid is springy n unami. Sambal kangkong n swee potato leaves is good as well as sambal lady fingers.

Used to be really generous with the fish and minced pork and my experience has generally been really good. After coming back in a long time (almost a year), sad to say the portion has shrunk so much and the prices have gone up as they changed the min per bowl price..
Not sure its seafood soup or soup with seafood, but barely had pieces of fish and minced meat.. the prawns were fresh though but i still dont see why i had to pay $6 for 2 prawns, 4 mini pieces of fish and 3 meatball.
The herbal soup is nice but once you go to the end which is filled with danggui, it starts to get bitter. A little too much of it.
I may still go back but probably go for the $2.80 minced meat soup which is still affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to order a bowl of herbal fish soup and asked them to replace prawn to minced meat but they refuse. In the end, only the spinach wolfberry fish soup is able to change to prawn. Soup is light and not fishy, but for service wise, I will not be going back to this stall again.

Jun Yuan House Of Fish is one of the hawker stalls listed on Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore 2021.
Chinese Spinach Seafood Soup with Wolfberries with e-mee $6.50 was comforting and decent. Ingredients were fresh and prawns were of good size. Soup was flavourful though slightly salty for me.
