★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality and price point for these tarts are just insane. $1.20 per tart for such good quality is something that you won’t find anywhere else.
Definitely something to be thankful for and try while you still can. Do note that it’s cash only and there’s no DBS atm nearby!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time buying the orh nee (yam paste) tarts n cheese tarts from this traditional bakery after hearing raving reviews about the tarts. Indeed the orh nee and cheese tarts are delicious. The tart pastry is nice, buttery n crumbly that goes very well with the orh nee or cream cheese filling which are not too sweet or "jelat". The cheese tart is almost like the popular ones. Love the orh nee n cheese tarts! Will return for more. But note that the tarts sell out very fast so need to be there early to buy them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the nostalgia feeling! I had bought their famous Orh Nee (Yam), cheese tarts, their eggs tarts and their peanut mochi! Also tried their avocado and strawberry mochi tarts too! Love all of them!
Really love their tarts base! All of them not overly sweet, just nice!
All of their tarts filling are generous! Super worth the price! Definitely will go and get it again and again when I’m in the area!
Uncle is very friendly and kind too!
I had their tarts on the day itself and a day later! The quality and taste are still as good as the 1st day! ??????

Crusty base with creamy yam filling which is fragrant and not too sweet. Worth my trip here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Managed to reserve the tarts at 7.15am and collected at 1pm. The peanut mochi (yam filling) is super soft which i like but tasted bland to me so sprinkle some fine sugar to suit my taste. Love the yam tarts and cheese tarts.

Cheese tarts ($1.30) is good too. Slight price increase. Use to sell for $1.20 each. Still reasonable price. One of the hidden gems at beach rd. Run by an elderly couple. Best to go before 10am.
