I am giving Kalidass Law Corporation the 5 star review it so richly deserves, having had the privilege to experience the working environment and culture there. I am immensely grateful to Mr Kalidass for accepting me as an intern into his firm, and for the opportunity to gain exposure to the legal world and community, despite having no prior experience in the legal field. Caring for Clients What I feel makes KLC stand out as more than just a good law firm, but an excellent one with a heart, is the care that Mr Kalidass and his team extend to their clients beyond book knowledge and winning cases at court. The team understands that client welfare does not end after fees are collected and the case is closed, but instead, take the time and effort out of their busy schedules to go the extra mile to ensure that the clients either get the counselling they need, or the opportunity to turn their lives around even after the case is closed, as far as it falls within their abilities or network. Whether the consultation is free or paid, advice is always given that has the best interest of the client at heart. Clients have been advised to spend money on counselling instead of legal fees. Likewise, others have also been advised to face up to the reality of the severity of charges pressed against them, so that steps can be taken for the best possible outcome. Proficiency and Work Ethic I have also been struck by their proficiency and work ethic. Despite being knowledgeable with more than two decades of experience in the legal field, Mr Kalidass always remains humble. Furthermore, great care has been taken to set up systems to ensure that clients get updates in a timely fashion and are constantly kept in the loop with updates and followups. Experience of Staff I have had the opportunity to gain exposure to court hearings, backend systems, client and prison visits... and am truly grateful for these invaluable opportunities. I can also not thank Mr Kalidass enough for his encouragement and help as I embarked on this legal journey, and have also seen him extend similar support to interns and staff to always reach towards the stars to maximise their fullest potential. Overall, I am very glad to have embarked on my legal journey with KLC and would like to share that great learning experience from the point of view of someone who has had the opportunity to see the internal workings of the company.
