★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price 4/5
Food 4/5
Overall 4/5
Had the $8 bowl of dry prawn noodles. Prawns are really fresh and big, but the shells are not peeled. Yet was given disposable wooden chopsticks and plastic spoon which makes peeling the prawn a very difficult task. Had to use my hands in the end.
The yellow noodle and thick beehoon are nicely cooked and goes well with the accompanying sauce.
Will return again, but I hope the cutleries provided can be sturdier, or may the prawns be peeled/ partially peeled for ease of eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $6 order came with 3 good sized prawns and they were so fresh and firm! The beehoon was a little too broken though. Soup was the more old school prawn mee kind, with a tinge of pepper and rock sugar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their Dry Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle ($5).
There was pork lard and oil added into the sauce mixture for the noodles. Together with the bean sprouts, there was a nostalgic taste to it.
Noodles (Mee Pok) springy. Pork ribs tender and fall of the bone. Prawns were of decent size, fresh and had a pleasant bite. There was also some slices of lean meat and fishcake.
The soup was perhaps the most average part. It was the old school sweet and peppery style which I didn’t like. Prefer those with more seafood flavours.
Overall still a very good bowl of noodle except the soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste ok to me. Soup is surprising flavorful.one of the prawns not too fresh. Pork rib ok, soft and not chewy unlike the one at Foch road.
For people lazy to de-shell prawn, can consider this.
For the price point of $6, I can only give 3 star. Can try, not too bad, but just didn’t wow me

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prawns were really fresh and tasty! Soup was wholesome too. It is slightly cheaper than other prawn noodles stalls around here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cooked live prawns were sweet and quite big-sized. The meat was slightly tough. For 6 dollar portion, they give you 2 big live prawns. Not bad, worth a try if you are a fan of prawn mee...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Live prawns are fished from the tank by uncle upon order. This is premium big prawn noodles without breaking the bank. $8 for 4 prawns. So fresh, nice color, easy to peel, meaty and crunchy. Consistently great year after year. I personally love their moderate intensity flavorful umami broth. Not too diluted or way too show-off intense which can get jelak. Add pork ribs or my fav intestines. I like mine dry kway teow or beehoon mee. Damn shiok. Will be back again after some time. Sure the other prawn noodles nearby are great too but definitely add this one for rotation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got $12 live prawn mee (dry) with yellow noodles, which comes with 6 prawns. the noodles and chilli were good but not outstanding. the live prawns themselves felt more like a gimmick than anything, the taste isn't outstanding compared to other fresh prawn. the prawn broth, however, was extraordinary. Nice meal, but I don't think I'll be coming back here.
