Good value, good tasting Chirashi sets. Will definitely be back.

Not the best quality ingredients used, chirashi don ingredients weren't fresh. Seaweed and pickles are full of artificial coloring, causing the color to leak onto the rice, which is quite unsightly.

We were shown a menu with cheaper prices but was charged higher prices later on. Staff claimed that menu shown earlier was an old one and the new menu (which had higher prices) was the correct one.

Selected this place because next door Astons were crowded at lunchtime. Food looks alright but the service was horrendous. Service staff(this auntie kept rushing us for order even though there was no Queue and when asked about another menu which had better pricing, she said she don't know the details and kept the menu away) So in the end, the patrons who came later than us, ordered, ate and left. Our colleagues food - which were just simple mentaiko salmon sushi took over 20minutes to prepare until we reminded them. No apologies or whatsoever and the food was kinda just thrown in front of my colleague. One more thing, while looking at the menu, we were served soup and salad which were non-refillable but free. It feels like we are committed to stay since the soup and salad were already served. Better to go elsewhere for lunchtime.

Picture looks not bad but Rice was hard and sashimi is tasteless. Very stale. Not worth it.

Located just at the entrance of the mall. Seating space was limited. So best to avoid meal times. Thankfully, the turnover of the customers was fast and we got seats. The dishes were all visually satisfying. The colour combination was good. Food was reasonably priced. The main course came with soup and salad. The staff was pro-active to come to take our orders and she advised us to order first to avoid the queue. Overall experience was great. Would come back to try other dishes!

?Unagi Kaisendon ?Ebi Mentaiyaki Kaisendon Their kaisendon is like a staple that cannot be missed! Comes with various toppings to choose from. Iโ€™m always torn over which topping to choose as I like everything hahaha. But maybe something more special would be the Ebi Mentaiyaki where the mentai is slightly torched and topped with ebiko. Simply chefโ€™s kiss! ? ?Tamago Mentai ?Hotate Mentai ?Yakitori Anything with mentai tastes divine! ? And their mentai is not โ€˜jelatโ€™ at all. Their yakitori is soft and tender! ?Salad and miso soup Check out their in-store promotions. I think each Kaisendon comes with free salad and miso soup. The salad is mixed with a tasty goma (sesame) dressing. Iโ€™m impressed that there are clams and salmon in the miso soup! ?? ?If you find my above review helpful, check out my IG @samlivestoeat for more foodie reviews! ?
