Kembangan-Chai Chee Seniors Activity Centre (KCCSAC) - Kembangan-Chai Chee Seniors Activity Centre (KCCSAC)

On 22 Feb 2019, Victoria School scouts went to KCCSAC, Kembangan Chai-Chee Senior Activity Center. We reached the venue at 2.30 PM which was just nice for all of us to make it to join the elderly in their weekly BINGO exercise. BINGO as we all know it is a game that requires sharpness and alertness. With these two aspects in mind, Bingo allowed for the elderly to remain active mentally as well as physically due to the frequent movement of their hands. Moreover, there were various prizes to be won which really motivated the elderly to put in effort in what they are doing. Nonetheless being in the Old Folk’s home we could not leave without lending a helping hand to some of the elderly, therefore after a number was called out, all the scouts who had attended the activity walked around to check if anyone had accidentally missed out a number. Afterwards, we had a short snack break in which they gave us bread that was delicious. Overall, I think that it was an eye-opening experience for me especially to have lived opposite the Activity center my whole life and not have known about what was happening over there.
