Due to allergy, I needed to find out if one of the bun uses egg in the baking process. The young girl at the bakery just answered no egg without checking. Then i clarified that it's an allergy issue and it can be quite serious. Then she just said her Baker isn't around and she don't know. All the while giving the very cold and unbothered attitude. Not even apologetic that she has replied without even checking. On top of that, she was arranging the bread on display while replying me. And i noticed her elbow touched some of the bread while she was rearranging the ones deeper in the display. Very unhygienic. Food allergy isn't a joke. Customers aren't asking about allergen ingredients like egg or milk just because we have nothing better to do. It is frustrating for customers who have to filter through all the bread names trying to guess which will trigger an allergic reaction. Will be nice if allergens are listed on label. Even a simple icon will be useful. Needless to say, I walked out of that bakery upset and empty handed

One of the better bakeries around in Tampines. Breads are freshly baked and balanced taste.

Super disappointing cream cheese bread with very minimal cream cheese filling. Always love Swee Heng cranberry walnut cream cheese bread at B1 but I came a little too late today it’s sold out so i came here to have a look and they have this cream cheese bread selling at the same price so I decided to give it a try. Bread not as soft. Very minimal filling. Swee Heng‘s definitely has a much better texture.

Many various bread that we can choose from. Best choice where we get soft and nice bread.

I can’t say more with the various breads they have... Their bread in general are softer but not hollow... I love breads and for me KenJinn is the best! Tip: if you want to try, or your favourite here is their Korean garlic bread, I suggest u pay and order in advance and just collect later because by the time it reach their tray display, it will be gone in minutes! Unless maybe on weekdays??

My experience here was amazing. Bakery items were well laid out. Items seem to be freshly baked. I was absolutely spoilt for choice! I ultimately went for the sausage buns, garlic cheese bun and ham bun which were all pretty good. Special mention to the sausage bun and the garlic cheese bun. Both were extremely soft and packed full of flavour. Will certainly return for more.

It puzzles me somewhat that KenJinn doesn't get a great score on Google Maps, but most of the critical reviews are about service. I think you have to put it in context: KenJinn isn't some atas bakery serving organic, wholemeal breads, with the service standards to match. It's a small, pleasant (but often very busy) bakery, serving a variety of breads, biscuits and pastries. The quality varies from acceptable to unusual (the walnut based breads are interesting), but the price is really affordable. With the current Buy 4, Pay For 3 offer, it works out cheaper than other bakeries, and some of the breads on offer aren't replicated elsewhere. It's still soft, white, bread... but for the value on offer, 5 stars. (PS For what it's worth, service here wasn't any worse than in the neighborhood bakeries.)

Garlic cheese bread was not bad, strong cream cheese taste but prob better with more garlicky taste! Oreo cream bun wasn’t that good, cream was just pure sweetness without much flavour. Custard cream bun was slightly better than Oreo cream bun. Tried their grains bread and love it! Can try their soft and fluffy pandan waffle if you are not the crispy airy type! But taste even better after we toast it at home!
