Goreng pisang batter was crispy and delicious. But the younger staff were quite busy with their phones.....

Bought a red bean humji Peng on 28 Oct 2021 morning. Was so disappointed. The center of the dough was uncooked. This can lead to food borne illness. It seem that i unable to upload the uncooked dough pics. Will provide the management pics if they bother to ask.

Staff (Chinese male, young man) was seen seated and was engrossed with his phone, with earpiece in his ear. I stood in front of him and took him awhile to notice me. Verbally ordered with 2 pieces of youtiao and pointed at the product. He didn’t seem to have heard me and only packed 1. When I told him I wanted 2, and gestured with 2 fingers, he gave me a frown and a glare as though I had inconvenienced him. Throughout the whole exchange, he was silent and didn’t remove his ear piece. My purchase experience was very disappointing with such service. Hope the management can look into this and improve on the service standards.

I remembered Hollywood Goreng Pisang at Bedok Interchange last time it was rather similar in taste. Although things change, d fried banana was delightfully tasty. Other stuff like you tiao n butterfly buns are equally tasty. They even have set packages for the items that can go along well with coffee / tea. And yes, pls take note that is totally vegetarian.. we saw d items, d oil n such.. and yes, its cleared?? Its slightly cheaper by a few cents but hey, a few cents saved goes a long way at the end. Talking bout cents, the prices are also quite affordable.. some places are charging their products so high that makes us consider twice before buying. And in terms if taste, well, u got it, its a not the best but one of the way better ones. Do note for service, u gota be abit more calm n approach them with a positive note. Looking at how things go, the guy seems to be stuck there almost all the time and rest for only 1 day.. so most likely he looks sour and maybe because of that, he looked as he did so. We shall not judge as everyone has their own challenges. So ya, lets all keep ourselves light hearted ya.. be calm and keep smiling ??
