Interesting historical site with interpretive signage. It's on a self guided walking tour of historical sites at Fort Canning.

Shrine of Sultan Iskandar Syah, he is super famous in Malaysia and also known by the name Parameswara. Sultan Iskandar Shah is portrayed as the last of the five kings to rule over Singapore in the 14th century and also the founder of Melaka. I read so much about him when I was young and it was a surreal moment to visit his shrine.

Very scenic and picturesque place. There is clear, precise and lively information about sultan iskandar shah. There is his coffin decorated by beautiful flowers. Toweing trees, skilfully trimmed bushes and beautiful flowers nearby offer flora and fauna. A pleasure walking through breathing in the fresh air. Would come again.

I visited Keramat Sultan Iskandar Syah back in March before the lockdown. According to local tradition, this is the burial place of Sultan Iskandar Syah, the last of the five kings of Singapore. There is a tomb (I’m guessing it’s more of a cenotaph) to mark the grave of Sultan Iskandar Syah. I wouldn’t go out of the way to visit this unless you’re going to Fort Canning Park though.
