Went to Kimistry before pre-wedding photo shooting. Kimistry provide a professional and friendly service to me. Really enjoy a haircut and hair colouring experience. Highly recommend this place to everyone who looking for a quality & professional hair cut and hair styling.

Timz is such an awesome hair stylist! I have bleached, frizzy, naturally curly and unmanageable hair that not many people know how to cut. Timz cut my hair and now it looks great and is super easy to manage. He was very patient and meticulous when he was cutting my hair, very careful to make sure that the shape looked good and that everything fell into place nicely. It was a wonderful haircut experience and I never knew my hair could look so healthy! I also did a hair treatment that Ted helped with and they were both very efficient yet gentle with my hair. Very friendly, nice and skillful people in a bright and comfortable salon. I walked out of the salon a very happy customer. Highly recommended!

Stephy is wonderful! I had gotten a terrible haircut a while back and she's been helping me grow it out and fix it. She's been giving me great advice on how to maintain it. Love the coloring they did for me too. The services you received are definitely worth the price. Their stylist knows what they are doing!

I am always worried to change stylist as my hair is always in a bad condition and not easy to manage. But I'm so fortunate that when I first met jimmy ,he gave me so much confidence and assurance that he is able to handle my hair! Jimmy really takes time to understand his client's needs and provides his professional advices to achieve the final result that he/she desired! I enjoy having my haircuts with Jimmy (Director) at Kimistry Hair Boutique. With many years of experience in the field, he is definitely able to give you a haircut to cater to your lifestyle and suits your personality. For me it means that I am able to manage it without much hassle. The ambience is comfortable and relaxing, staff is friendly too. :)

When I found out my favorite stylist had moved to this salon, I was excited to know it wasn't just a move, but a new venture for him to be able to focus forward and engage his customers through that magical talent of his! I'm talking about Golden Scissors Award Winner, Jimmy Yap, of course. He has a precise, thoughtful way of managing hair care and doing styles that answer to what you need or want. A bonus is that he can also do fantasy or cosplay looks! Timz is also amazing. He has an intensity of understanding just what look you're describing and how to achieve it. Then there's Pandy. OMG, this stylist has the best hair washing technique ever. Ted has a delicate approach that is helpful and serene. As always, be sure to communicate your preferences so this team can fulfill your ideals. Ask questions. Bring photos of styles you admire. Engage the stylists and learn how to achieve your signature look. I have been able to experience hair care from each of these individuals, and I like them all, but of course Jimmy is the best. Now as for the salon, it is on a lower level of Scotts Square but so convenient. Arrive via Orchard MRT and walk there, or it is easier to take a bus and alight at Far East Plaza, walk a few steps, and you're in the mall. Escalator to lower level. (It is near the Fair Price Grocery store and some other good shops to visit after your appointment.) The salon is not large, but they have all modern equipment. It is clean, and prices are more reasonable than you'd expect (as in, less expensive than many Orchard/Ion Orchard/Wheelock area ones). Shampoo seating is comfortable, no neck strain. They use ultra new Dyson hair dryers that get the job done quickly and with less noise than traditional dryers. So there you have it! A great salon for everyday life as well as special occasions.
