The variety of food and good quality of food could covers all 3 meals daily during Covid period. Good food such as dim sum (siew mai, char siew bao, porridge, etc), famous duck rice & noodles & Guo tiao & its herbal soup, fish ball noodles, sliced fish soup, claypot rice and Kimly zi char. There is a new western food which i have yet to try.

Good dimsum location - probably the most popular thing on weekend mornings! The sauce on the chee cheong fun actually has flavour, and the siew mai is not over-steamed. The outstanding dish is the porridge!

Be careful when ordering from the economical rice. Ordered 2 meat, 1 veg and rice which should have been $2.90 but was charged $4.70 each for 2 plates

Today's claypot rice - it took 20 minutes to cook, amazing. Pity no vege (need side order) and 2 salted fish bits not crispy. Tastes yummy overall. Yesterday's sliced fish bee hoon had nice tasting soup. Fish slices were frezh. Should include vege to make it a wonderful complete lunch. Coffee and tea were good. Noticed a table reserved for staff - good welfare effort.

This coffee shop also goes by the name of : 881. Probably the local movie must have had a huge impact on the owners, heh. The most popular stall here, arguably, is the corner dim sum stall. The owners makes a good portion of the dim sum themselves, as well as the bao. But the best dish, in my opinion, has got to be their homemade porridge. Both the pi tan zhou and peanut porridge are chockful of ingredients; I've discovered scallop, oyster, and other goodies over my many visits here. I don't think anyone else serves porridge that's even close to this. Definitely a must try.
