Read about the good review and decided to check it out. Ordered the wanton noodle, tom yum soup, fried chicken wings and Thai iced milk tea. The noodle is very good, no chilli yet so tasty. Tom yum soup can be better. Fried chicken wings just average

A Thai food place closed recently and another Thai place open nearby. The last one was doing quite well before. I guess it was time to raise the rental. Anyway, I went to try this new place for dinner recently and it looks busy enough. I waited quite a long time after checking the menu before I could place my order. They seem to be busy packing food for many people. I had a Thai Wanton Noodle. I like the noodle but don't really the char siew (sweet roast pork) which has a layer of fats on the side. That's how they are supposed to be in the olden days. My wife had the fried basil minced pork with rice and she was quite please. I tried a bit of the minced pork. It's actually quite good. We shared 5 pieces of spring roll. Not fantastic and bit expensive for $5.80. Happens that every item we had cost $5.80 but I guess will skip the spring roll in future.

Enjoyed the basil pork & soup more compared to the fried egg & fried intestines. Would definitely return to try their Thai noodles or the same soup but with tang hoon! The egg was nice but it's a huge portion for 2 & got a bit too much with the oil for us. Fried intestines didn't have much of a taste actually, but decided to try since it's something unusual.

Their signature wanton mee was full of flavor, pork slices were generously given and the soup was fantastic! Have been having their wanton noodle for 2 consecutive days! Will definitely recommend! ??

I had spent the better part of a decade doing in business in Thailand and a usual sight off any corner any time of the day you can find a Bak Mee Keaw push cart stall. Wanton Noodle Stall, or Bak Mee Kaew is a daily staple in Thailand anytime of the day, meal or snack. For years, when it was located at Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 coffeeshop, Soi 19 was the go to place for Thai style Wanton Noodle, modelled after the popular Soi 19 Wanton Noodle in Bangkok. Since they expanded into restaurant they had since lost their quality control and flavour, thus my loyalty. I started reading about Kin Moo for awhile now and today found time to try their new outlet at Toa Payoh and I am pleasantly surprised. Springy and flavourful garlic infused lard oil coated noodles in Singapore is presented to me again. Just the whole small garlic fried and toss the noodles with the thick cut lard and chilli flakes, the strong aroma fills you and whet your appetite. Unlike most of Thailand's Moo Daeng or Char Siew, mostly boiled and dyed red, here they present thick cut charred lean meat, unfortunately my cuts were a little tough and dry. Minced Pork wanton, in Thai style, flavourful and savoury. Daikon pork soup with a nice thick slice of daikon or radish is an icing on the cake. $6.90 with a drink (add a dollar for Thai milk tea), this is definitely great value for flavourful Thai style wanton noodles. Definitely will be back. If not for the tough cut of char siew this is definitely a 5 star experience

Nice surprise to see young enterprisers entering into a mature coffee shop estate. Ordered the two signature dishes - wanton and pork knuckle. Both very good and at an affordable price. The favorable sauce and qq noodle is the winner!

Trying out the new menu Truffle Wanton Mee The springy noodles are well tossed with truffle, then topped with wanton, pork char siew (make from grilled pork collar) and further topped with humongous chunks of lard!! Must mention these lards are so crispy!! Sinful but heavenly indulgent. The pork collar char siew, is extremely tender and soft unlike those cardboard char siew typically find in most wanton noodle dish. The wanton had a good ratio of wrapping to well seasoned minced meat, but I wished it has more minced meat filling as I'm a meaty person ? Thai Braised Pork Knuckle With Rice. I extremely love this braised pork knuckles that had both gelatinous layer of fat and tender meat that just melted in my mouth. The fat added so much flavour and texture to the meat. The sauce is flavourful making the rice very aromatic to finish even on its own. The dipping sauce chilli is zesty and goes well to cut through the fattiness of the meat. Fried Wanton Crispy on the outside, juicy and scrumptious on the inside. The filling was bursting with flavour and juicy bits. Sadly the deep fried pork knuckle was sold out. But I definitely be back to try this and their signature wanton mee.

1. Truffle Thai wanton mee S$6.50 truffle fragrance is pretty strong, I not really a fan of truffle though. The Cha siew is flavorful and tasty. The pork lard is generous and crispy. I think I would still prefer to try their signature Thai wanton mee since I donโ€™t really like truffle and would like the noodles to be more flavorful. A plus point is that their noodles donโ€™t have the typical alkaline favor. ,, 2. Tom yum dry noodles S$5 It is spicy and sourish with a kick. With minced pork, wanton skin, crispy peanut and also pork liver. The pork liver is a tad hard though. , 3. Braised pork knuckle rice S$6 Was expecting braised pork noodles since I chose that, but is good that I received braised pork Rice as it is pretty flavorful. The braised pork is pretty tender and nicely marinated. My favorite dish out of all. ,. 4. Fried wanton S$5.80 Was expecting their fried pork neck, but received their fried wanton instead. It is crispy and tasty. I prefer their fried wanton more than their soup wanton Review as per my IG: Yummymich
