If you're looking for really fresh japanese food and a cosy spot for meals, this is your place to go. While on the more pricey side, you really do pay for what you get. The sashimi was fresh, noodles are handmade and best served cold and dipped in a flavourful broth, and the waitstaff are friendly and engaging! Expect to pay about $30-50++ per pax when you come during dinner or if you're ordering ala carte (not set lunch) and they have good membership offering for those who work / stay around the area.

OMG this is like the BEST udon I’ve ever had in Singapore?! The ??????? ???? ??????? at @kiyoshi_japanese_restaurant are thin but dense, which give a firm chewy bite! ? ?Kiyoshi Combination Udon ?38.80++ I thoroughly enjoy this as it offers a great variety of premium ingredients. 3 mini bowls of udon to savour with: - bara chirashi - tempura (I was expecting ebi but no it’s snow crab leg!) - uni and ikura ?Tempura Zaru Udon ?23.80++ My brother was so impressed with the combination that he ordered this (??? ?? ??? ??? ????? ?). He prefers this as he likes authentic cold udon. I would like to try this next time! ?If you find my above review helpful, check out my IG @samlivestoeat for more foodie reviews! ?

First visit to this pretty awesome Japanese restaurant in Amoy Street. Chance upon this place due to recommmendations from Chope. Friendly and professional staffs who will give food recommendations that customers will enjoy. Food is nice. The udon is must try because its very different. Price is moderate range depends on what you order. Will definitely return again.

The food is not bad; service is questionable. We were called a few hours before the reservation and informed that there would be a minimum order of $100 as it was Valentine's Day. On reaching the restaurant, we clarified with our server and learned there was no such thing. For this alone, I wouldn't return. Otherwise, our server was polite. Noted that our menus were left on the table after we ordered. Our mains also came separated by at least 5 mins, during which I watched my udon cool. Otherwise the food was not bad. I had the hot Inaniwa beef udon. The broth was clear but rich in flavour. It was also reminiscent of MSG. The beef slices were a bit dry, the onsen egg congealed instead of runny (maybe because I was waiting for my partner's food to arrive). We shared a chawanmushi, which was well seasoned and had a nice pudding-like texture. Also shared a dashimaki tamago, which was heavier and not as sweet as the other version, the atsuyaki tamago. Partner had the much-raved about combination udon, which is three separate small bowls of udon. Each had a different broth, seasoning and topping. Nice for the adventurous folks. I wouldn't actively avoid the place if friends or family wanted to try it, but I wouldn't make plans to go again.

1st time having meal at Kiyoshi in a group! We ordered many different dishes to share. It was a very cosy restaurant where you will see lots of friends & family eating here. Sashimi was really fresh! I love all the dishes especially the cute little dessert & the Snow Crab Tempura Soba. Btw their soba is freshly handmade! I really love the taste! I highly recommend u to try too!

Excellent spot for sushi and perfect spot for gathering with mates or for a date night. Our server was very helpful in recommending dishes from the menu. We also had a very tasty mushroom salad (not pictured). Will definitely return to give the udon a try!
