This was actually my second visit to this wanton noodle store, the first time there, I was there too early and they were not even ready for operation. Just so happen to cycle past this vicinity and decided to give this place a try. Upon reaching, I could see that there were many people in the hawker centre. Quickly order my food, the wanton noodle starts from SGD$4 onwards all the way to SGD$6. I waited patiently for closed to 45mins before my food was served. Unlike most wanton noodle stall elsewhere that uses meekia, this stall used a kind of noodle that resemble the thin meepok. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture was springy and there wasn’t any taste of alkaline. Wanton noodle was rather dry, could do with more sauce. Each plate of noodle comes with shredded chicken and braised mushroom, thinly sliced charsiew and wantons. This plate of wanton noodle does have the rustic taste and its pretty similar to one stall that I have tried recently. Is it worth the queue? probably not for me but don’t be mistaken. This plate of wanton noodle is pretty good but I would not have spent close to an hour just to queue for it.

Waited an hour for my wanton mee but its worth it. Ordered a $5 medium size plate and it comes with shredded chicken, mushroom & char siew. I tried both their dumpling & wanton & it tasted very delicious. Recommended, must try if you can wait for it. Enjoy!

The best WTM in town after so many years still. Can only be eaten now for leisure as the wait is easily 1-2hours.

(Forgot to take pictures, so here are screengrabs!) Maybe it was the excitement of the unknown. The draw of doing what Singaporeans do best.. queue for food. Cos if people are waiting, then it MUST be good right? Though many a stall has disappointed with that said theory, I'm glad Koka didn't. I would have imagined being harsher in my judgement, having waited so long for a 'simple' dish. But being very honest with myself, I didn't find anything that made me frown with bitter resentment whilst nomming down my meal. Sure the wan ton was basic, the char siew wasn't spectacular, and the wait was torturous. But the flavour in the sauce, and the soup were pretty amazing to me. And as I mentioned, nothing was bad to the point I felt wronged by it. Yes, I know I repeated the word "good", and "nice" multiple times in the video. I attribute that to fatigue and delirium. But also to the fact that the flavours in the dish had my tongue twisted, which rarely happens. I'm really glad to have tasted this plate of Wan Ton Mee, in all its full bodied flavours, fragrant aroma, and amidst a strange yet appreciative experience that one has to endure to get to the final stage of consumption. Really happy to have pushed the comfort zone here, and now to plan how and when the 2nd tasting will be. How comfortable are you? Overrated. I came two nights in a row to confirm. Small portion as well even when I ordered the biggest. I ordered $5 the first night and $6 the second night. Try and see from my pics if u can figure out which is the $6. Long wait is for sure as many came, could be due to the various articles about this stall. Not going again though as it's not worth the wait. I had better WTM. Two stars for the effort from the uncle and aunty. Thanks

Seriously I am testing my patience to eat this…. So is it worth the wait? 2hrs Hmmmmm Honestly the noodle is very good …. The wonton is actually better then the noodle!!!! It outshine it anytime. However base on my 8friends They all say the take away one is much better…. That the irony for you!!! First time I heard it. So I was lucky to take away 2 extra packet to try. Have fun waiting

I am someone who loves wanton mee without those thick brown sauce, thus Koka Wanton Mee is my favorite as it has the kind of taste I am looking for. Very traditional and authentic taste. This stall only operates from 11pm at night till 3am, closed every Sunday. The waiting time is approximately 1 hour after you place the order with the aunty. If you want to have more ingredients in your noodles, just go for the $6 portion, it's very nice!!! Highly recommended place if you are looking for wanton mee for your supper with friends or family.
