★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food are nice. The captain or manager (Thenan I think) is very good and the service given by him is ?Flexible and understanding when there was a hiccup with the menu. Need more people like him in the industry

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped for a lunch with wife. The half-size lunch deal we went for had ended, but the waiter courteously let us split a $38 dollar lunch plate into two halves, which was just enough for the two of us. Beautiful interior and good service made it worthwhile. We really like how the meat was done, the sauce, and the fresh mustard accompaniment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10/10 do not recommend ? Steak was too salty and tastes like plastic… Got a replacement steak as i told the server that it was too salty… but when i got my replacement it still sucked… i didnt finish my steak at all. literally ate only one slice and had to force my bf to eat some for me but both of us didnt like it. i really do not want to slander this place despite the friendly staffs but i actually threw up my food when i got home bcos it actually made sick ? & my whole bill was $358 ????? what made me disappointed was how the staff didnt check up on me when they clearly saw i didnt eat the steak at all and avoiding me :( Wanted to get my half of the refund but i was feeling too sick to do anything and just paid for the whole thing so i could go home and rest. What a way to end the year :( I am so disappointed with this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had high hopes to find myself a nice french steakhouse but this is just disappointing.
I take a table and sit out the front. The waiter then approaches and before asking if I want a drink or anything. Starts trying to sell me the most expensive thing on the menu - 300g Entrecote steak at 59 bux plus tax. I was planning a cocktail followed by a couple of glasses of wine with dinner but I just felt rushed
I ordered "purple Haze" cocktail and the bone marrow followed by XXL Entrecote steak - this was meant to be a 300g steak. I was treating myself to a nice dinner and thought I'd enjoy it.
Cocktail was average. Shoulda gone with the wine.
They bone marrow was nice until the second piece I had was raw. There wasn't an acidic component to the dish so its quite a big portion of bone marrow without it.
My steak came out 2 min after they cleared the marrow. The steak was 62.50 with tax. I ended up with 2 different steaks sliced and put on top of each other..... That were also rare instead of MR and covered in a mustardy gravy which wasn't great. I ate it. I really wanted a steak but how severely dissatisfied especially with so many other restaurants in the area with the same price point. They also bought out a 2nd serving of bone marrow that I wasn't expecting and was pretty full at this point.
I didn't order anything else as I didn't want to spend any more money on something that's not going to be good. I don't really care about the price aslong as it's good when I go out. I was happy to spend 2-300 bux tonight but not when I'm not happy with it.
They took the bone marrow off my cheque which is normal if you serve something semi-raw. They were apologetic about it but next time I would choose something else in the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The present day diner, doesn’t just look for high end dining, but for classical & traditional dishes well executed!
For those that are looking for such a meal will not go wrong visiting the L’Entrecote at Duxton Hill!
The Onion Soup was probably one of the best I had, perfect & my dining friends lived every scoop!
Steak Tartar was superb, The Pate En Croute delightful but the highlight was surely the Bone Marrow, a true classic! Loved every bit of it!
The mixed Greens with Walnuts, was nice, refreshing a great precursor to the Main Dish!
The Sirloin or Entrecôte as the French call it, with their secret sauce! And the fries. super crisp pure delight!
The Tarte Tatin or upside down Apple Tart was the perfect Finish!
Great service, excellent wine & an Espresso to finish off our lunch!
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, great ambience, seat 1 has natural light from open ceiling so be sure to request. Tried their escargots, onion soup, marrow and pate, nice portion. Their house steak comes pre sliced served with baked fries that stays crispy. Dont ask for chilli, bring your own if you insists chilli with fries.
