I bought the last batch of polos made in France, specifically paris 5th arr before the all asia-based Lacoste shifted their production to vietnam/indonesia while holding the price. I didn't buy the made in Asia ones, and I can't speak for the quality, but it's telling that all the "premium" polos in store are still made in France, while the basic range in Asia. That being said, the france-made polos are amazing in quality, cut is good, esp the slim fit for Asian bodies. Material is fantastic and looks really premium. If u want the made in Asia polo, suggest going to imm factory outlet where it's cheaper. But note that at imm, it's a sale item and u cannot return or exchange. They have very good plain socks though. Lacoste also makes very good shoes, the classic l.12.12s leathers are perfect and I would have gotten them but they were too expensive and Clarks was on discount. Avoid the boat shoe designs and also avoid those where the sole is soft foam instead of the usual rubber used on l.12.12
