I have eaten at this stall for more than 15 years but their quality has dropped especially the soup; it’s by far the worst soup I have ever drank. In the past, they would add seaweed in the soup and dried fish (ti bok) in the noodle but not anymore. I am still patronizing because the dry version is acceptable but the soup version is definitely a NOOOOOOO. And yes I can’t agree more with others who commented on their poor customer service; it really sucks ??????

Pretty Good Ba Chor Mee! Ordered $6, Good Portion of ingredients and even got slides of abalone! Decent chilli paste! Try adding chilli and tomato sauce and get this spicy and little sweet flavour. #personalpreference.

Good bak chor noodle in toa payoh. Popular with local residents. Take queue number and self service. Available in yellow noodle nor rice noodle. No mee pok(flat yellow noodle) or mee gia(thin yellow noodle).

Tried the dry version, only has 4,5 and 6 dollars version. The non spicy version of Minced pork noodles is normal. Chilli version is not bad. Free flow pork lard for you. A short wait is expected here.

I tried the dry BCM ($4) and it was really good! The noodles had a good chew and it reminds me of ramen texture. The sauce was well seasoned as well, it comes with a generous portion of fried pork lard. The queue is quite long, it took around 30 minutes but we were given the buzzer and didn’t have to stand around the stall.

I came by on a weekday around 1.30pm, and it took about 10 minutes from ordering to receiving my food. When you order, you are given a number, so just look out for your number that is flashed on a display. I ordered the $5 portion which was a decent size. There are also $4 and $6 options. I thought it was a shame that they had sold out of yellow noodles, and I had to go with the rice noodles, which changes the enjoyment of bak chor mee. I liked that the pork lard added a crunch to the noodles, and the chilli was pretty tasty as well. I wished the braised mushrooms could be stronger in taste.

Toa Payoh Blk73 BCM is popular with the neighbourhood. long queue in orderly format, expect 15-25mins. BCM is standard taste with fresh ingredients. If I’m the vicinity good to try.
