This is actually super comfort food kind of prawn noodles. Got myself mee kia dry, and was initially not very impressed with what I had. It was only later when I was working my way through the bowl, that I realised how much ingredients auntie gave, and how it's actually not too bad a bowl of noodles! For 3 bucks, I definitely cannot complain for the quantity and quality of things.

Best prawn Mee in the area. Chilli powder, intestines stands out from the rest. I mean theirs started since 20 over years ago when most other prawn Mee stalls still have not used chilli powder and added intestines.

Very tasty pork rib prawn mee. The photos might not do justice to the taste. The pork ribs are very soft and juicy. It would have been five stars if not for the small amount of 3 pork ribs and 2 prawns for $5, considering this is in a very humble hawker centre and neighbourhood. Nonetheless is worth the queue and time.

Quite delicious, and long queue moves fast. ? The $5 portion contains 2.5 prawns, some fish cake and pork slices. I wish the dry noodle sauce had more flavors, but its probably supposed to come from the onions and chilli. So expect a plainer taste if you don't take spicy.

These days one seldom come across a bowl of prawn noodle selling at $2.50. In Cambridge Food Centre, you can find many stalls like fried bee hoon, carrot cake, noodle selling at $2.50 for a basic but good enough for a humble meal. This particular prawn noodle was always having long queue, probably it was cheap! I felt that the sauce mixtures were too sweet for me.

Lai Hiang Pork Rib Prawn Noodles has very strong and memorable prawn soup that I would remember vividly. During peak hours, you have to queue very long but it's worth the wait. By the time I went around 12plus on a weekday afternoon, all the other options like pork ribs are sold out and the only option is prawn noodles. The prawns are fresh and chewy. Fish cakes are also tasty with nice noodles. Chili are on the spicy side and I like it. The soup is the highlight for me. There is the option of using the QR code to make payment for their food. #ILoveLaiHiangPorkRibPrawnMee

Old school style of prawn noodles. The queue was pretty long and relentless on a weekend morning. Waiting time about 30 minutes. Went for the $5 dry version with the pork ribs. The soup was light and sweet, quite flavourful. Pork ribs a little too tough for my preference. Very generous portion for noodles, but just 1 prawn and 3 pieces of pork ribs for $5 is quite little I feel. Probably will not queue 30 mins for this another time, but if you’re into old school style it’s worth trying!
