★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old school pancake at Pek Kio market! Run by a bunch of aunties, who just tirelessly set new pans, make new pancakes, cut them up, and serve them to the never ending queue. At 60 cents per piece, you can't really complain.
Especially if you bought to eat on the spot, the heat, freshness, and textures all coming together, was a beautiful experience. Great for that local breakfast you're looking for in Singapore.

Took a bite, to my surprise; it’s so chewy alike to mochi texture!
It would be even better if there’s more grounded peanut filling!
Sold out by 12 or even earlier so be early!
