Convenient parking area nearby, just beside MRT too, short walk to it. Many varieties of soup base noodles and rice. Kids live the noodles very much. Fried chicken wings were nice and crispy too. Crowded and full house during peak hours but queue was fast enough. Serving was fast too without dropping quality. The fishes and meats were fresh either, worth the try and visit.

If you want overpriced 'superior' soup for $11.80, look no further. One prawn, two meatballs, three stalks of vegetables, some minced meat and infinite MSG, all for a 'cheap' price. Kudos to the staff for messing up my order when I was the only customer, and then blaming me. Supposedly when I say "eating here" it must sound like "takeaway". Pure coincidence later it must be, that other customers also had their orders misplaced. First time where after staff messes up your order, they tell you to just "eat from the bowl". Of course I had to get the cutlery, and another bowl myself since it was my mistake. That'll teach me! Such a great experience that I won't be headed back anytime soon.

Slight price increase since the expansion of the shop. There’s a decent variety of non-fish soup options which is great! ingredients are fresh and tasty but the shop is less generous on the serving size now.

Had high hopes for the soup since the name of the place is superior soup. And it’s indeed not bad, it’s not the msg soup that is common in other hawker like places and it’s quite flavoury, but perhaps I was expecting too much I went for the superior soup with dry hor fun for 11.8. Wanted the lime juice drink but they ran out, and they were left with coke, tea or bottled water.

Tried this out as it wasn't yet another Korean joint along the stretch of eateries. Both the Lao Jiang Soup and Superior Soup have excellent broth, full of umami and very tasty. The fried hor fun that came with the superior soup was not bad, but had no ingredients at all. I like the red chilli sauce which had lots of lime added to it. The prices here are quite steep, so I guess it's a nice place to visit when you want to indulge.

The signature soup is nice. You can choose the type of noodle to pair with it. Customer service can be improved, a warm welcome can go a long way.

With a name like superior soup, i was expecting umami seafood taste but soup isn’t as intense or flavourful as expected BUT this is in no way bad soup. Enjoyed the variety of ingredients in the soup, and love the dry horfun with it which has a bit of spice. If you like chili, remember to get it from the counter. Would recommend this as a go-to hangover soup place! Minus 1 star because they changed restaurant service style to self-service and it’s a bit confusing like you take chopsticks and chili separately but don’t take spoons because they will serve…?

Tasty soup, and side dishes. A no-frills dining outlet, with little service. Fried Spice Pork Belly (10/10) Juicy pork wrapped in a thin fermented beancurd, spiced and crispy skin. Pork was very fatty and served piping hot, so it just melts in your mouth. Signature Superior Soup (8/10) - Added grouper ($5), and bitter gourd ($1). The soup is light, clean, and sweet. Definitely a good choice after a night of drinking. (I.e. It is not the concentrated type with the intense / flavourful taste.) For ingredients, you can expect fish maw, prawns, sliced pork, meat balls, fish ball and a slice of abalone. Definitely enjoyed the grouper and their fat, bouncy and soft fish ball. Pity, the prawns wasn’t that fresh. $1 gets you a healthy serving of bitter gourd. We opted to pair the soup with dry hor fun. It comes with black sauce and lard, making the hor fun very tasty. Homemade Ngoh Hiang (7/10) Crisp skin, and filled with juicy and tender pork belly. It does get monotonous as they lack dimension. These do not have the crunchy water chestnuts.
