Had tried this restaurant a few months back, and this was a return visit. Came on Saturday night around early 6+, the restaurant was about 90% fully occupied already. Order the following: 1. Seafood pancake 2. Half portion ginseng chicken soup 3. Kimchi stew 4. Steamed egg Banchan was refillable as mentioned by other reviewers. The kimchi is quite good, not super fermented and still had some good crunch to it. Seafood pancake was the thick kind, lightly cripsy on the edges and pretty good. Paired with a simple soya sauce dipping. Some people will probably prefer those more crispy kind though. So I will say it's subjective to your preference. The ginseng soup was the best dish of the night. Soup was flavourful, refreshingly clear and the chicken drumstick was extremely tender. Dip the chicken meat in some salt to add some savoury flavour and you get a well balanced dish. The kimchi stew was abit lackluster tonight. Had the stew previously which was more robust flavoured and had a strong spicy kick, but tonight's was quite watered down. But ingredients wise, they did give alot of meat/ tofu in the stew. Overall, still above average and much better than some of the Korean restaurants in the vicinity. Their portions are quite big and generous as well. Also, their prices are already gst absorbed so only 10% service charge is billed on the final amount.

I truly enjoyed this beef dish i ordered. It was really tasty and I would totally go back for it. A humble and casual korean restaurant which is pretty authentic. Comes with free flow side dishes and green tea !

Jjampong was a huge portion and definitely authentic taste, soup was pretty spicy but enjoyable! Generous amounts of prawns, mussels and squids though not very fresh, the squid was very hard and chewy, some of them were even too tough to bite. Soft tofu stew was perfect and satisfying, tofu was generous and the soup was so good. It tastes different and more authentic than those normal soup with seasonings out there, can really taste the soybean and the saltiness unami!! Service was a let down though while serving the jjampong, the female waitress accidentally spilled some soup which landed on my white canvas bag. She did apologise but didn’t seem sincere about it and this really spoiled the experience for me. Some more the red stain is practically permanent on my white bag.

Rating is based on the food ordered but the place and staff deserve 5 stars. Friendly ajumma owner, portions are larger than most places. Place is clean, organised and welcoming for families. The spicy curried potatoes are nice. The lady boss brought me a whole bowl of it after I complimented how tasty they were. She also gave a complimentary squid side dish. I was really looking forward to the cold noodles but the broth was mild and lacked fruity fragrance. Was surprised to see tripe stew on the menu and ordered it. Sadly, they were not stewed long enough making them tough and chewy, as were the intestines. The beef slices in this dish was good. Had to take away most of this dish as it was for 2pax and I was hoping to stew it longer for the next day. Would still want to try their other stews to see if there is redemption there. Would come back if I was in the area. I think I just ordered the weaker dishes, better luck next try perhaps.

It was not too crowded on weekend late afternoon. Ordered seafood pancake, cold noodle and spicy toufu stew. Seafood pancake was most outstanding dish. Generous seafood, crispy and flour mix was just right. Delicious. Cold noodle was average, though the picture showed it had meat pieces, when it came there wasn’t. We only realized after the meal. Spicy tofu was average, average ingredients and flavor.

First try here with my family. The food was really good and the servings were very generous as compared to other Korean restaurants I've been to - we didn't manage to finish most of the soups despite our best efforts ?. My wife's a bibimbap fan and rated their version very highly i.e. will return for more; I find their bean paste and tofu soups very flavorful and authentic tasting (not too expensive either, at $15 each, I think). The ginseng chicken soup is slightly more expensive at $18 and while I thought the soup was pretty satisfying my dad didn't really enjoy the chicken. Definitely worth a try if you're a Korean food lover and in the area.

The lady boss is super nice and attentive to all tables, keep refilling outsides and they have free flow water :)

Food tasted good especially the seafood pancake. Serving was generous for all the food we ordered. Service can be better though. There was a young bespectacled lady with a long ponytail who was pulling a long face the whole time we were there. She was only slightly friendlier towards the Korean customers. Lady boss was friendly and greeted all who came in. Not sure if I'll visit again.
