great school, great buildng, great design. This building complex has an innercourt that allowed public for access there. The facade of the building makes the building looks like a sculpture or an artwork, rather than a college building. Some crafting opening in the facade as an ornament for the solid facade outside. The inner facade to the innercourt widely open that every people can see each other in that area

Lovely place for art enthusiasts. The blocks are arranged opposite each other with an open space in the centre for a myriad of activities including musical performances, etc. An awesome place to chill out yet protected from the sun and the rain. Ample parking lots in the basement and a stone throw away from eating outlets. Convenient.

I passed by this amazing looking building very frequently whenever I am at bugis area. Glad that today I have the opportunity to walk around and admire the building. It's is a Sunday and happy that it's not crowded, it's almost empty and I can easily capture the photo of the building. It's not as big as I expected and maybe if I have the opportunity to visit this place again during weekdays, I will like to see the arts activities taught in this college.

This institute is a sight to behold in tiny Singapore, and so too are the students, coming from various nationalities and races, and in their very own individualities in always and dressing. Every angle of this building is interesting. It's almost like this building is made up of many layers of monoliths.

I'm giving 1 star for the many ill-mannered and arrogant media students. Students invite talents for auditions but during auditions, they speak to them in a condescending manner. Talents ask students about what movie/book adaptation and we get answers from a 18-19 year old punk with minimal to nil life and work experiences as 'oh, you don't need to know all that and even if I tell, you confirmed won't know one...' That's in Singlish. Producers have small amount of money and when asked the roles' rates, they get too sneaky and tell us veteran actors to understand rates will be discussed AFTER auditions! LASALLE - in media, transparency is important. It is talents' rights to know the gigs' details, availability, characters' scope and most importantly, the remuneration. Don't waste talents time in travelling, memorising scripts, and getting tons of unwanted criticisms, and unable to reveal the rates. If professional agencies can reveal the rates, what makes Lasalle so special in not revealing? Don't use 'passion' as a lame excuse. Passion in itself isn't going to put food on the table or send you to Hollywood or Hong Kong overnight! We're also doing your students a favour taking up lead and supporting roles at pathetic $30-60. Slightly higher for those in final year. Some of your students have NO manners to get back to us when they clearly have mentioned that they'd get back to us. When we've indicated our working style that we DO NOT do auditions due to our many years of experience, we're unsure if these students passed their English comprehension, and they still tell us to come down for auditions! Don't your students read? If auditions are mandatory for lecturers to grade students, then students must be upfront with the talents about the school's requirements, and now it's at the talents' discretion if they want to move further. Don't insult or disrespect talents just because these are your students. When students say they'd get back to talents, then walk the talk! Until now, my friends who auditioned for the parts were never notified that they didn't get them when 'student producers and directors' said they'd get back. If you want to notify 'successful' talents only, then just say so. Don't beat about the bush. Communication is important in media and filmmaking! Next, the students say they were not taught on all these so it ends up that they get 'free lessons' from talents! wonder what Lasalle educators are doing. Getting good pay and very comfy in their job? There's a distinguished educator who keeps supporting his students that as students, they're bound to make mistakes and we have to 'forgive' them. We are not here to 'forgive' students' mistakes. Just because they're students and perhaps from well-to-do backgrounds doesn't give them the audacity to talk brashly to talents! Students in Lasalle are expected to be mature and have manners. It's sad that many in this school give you that arrogant look until I once put them in their spot. A female producer told me she has to see my acting and must give me the 'green light', then I'll get the part. I questioned her on all the different methods of acting and this girl couldn't answer my questions. So I asked her if you don't even understand 'method acting', NOT even established in this industry, who do you think you are to assess a veteran actor and give me the 'green light' at a very low rate? I've pride and dignity. All her other team members were shocked. I told her learn to be humble. The more arrogant you are, the lousier Lasalle's reputation would be and I walked away leaving them speechless. My friends who have worked with Lasalle students had to chase them for a copy of their film showreel. These students were not as prompt in replying their messages as compared to how they were when looking for talents! What a bunch of users and hypocrites. When they needed people, they were sweet. Once done, they ignore those talents. Pathetic students. Terrible educators. Arrogant institution. Many of my friends stopped doing projects for Lasalle.

I took a short course at this place and it was horrible. Please don’t waste your time and money studying here. Spoke to another student here who said that the management and lecturers are highly biased. If you are thinking of doing your degree or diploma here, please don’t get fooled by the exterior design cause that’s all they have in my opinion.

Library is never open, and librarians are super rude. They always close early and did not allow me to borrow a book even though they closed before the supposed time. They should be more understanding and not have to chase us put. The opening hours in the library are very short.

Attended a critique session of the final yr students of the product design faculty and was blown away by the beautiful architecture. Nice and spacious carpark. Thoroughly enjoyed the session and witnessed some insightful and original thinking projects by the next generation designers led by the cutting edge lecturers! Looking forward to the next session and more collaborations!
