affordable claypot dishes for sharing! recommend to visit for family/friends gathering. may be crowded during meal times, good to go early. dishes are affordable priced with appropriate portions to fill stomach. adequately flavoured (not too heavy on taste buds), goes well with a bowl of plain rice.

Overall food is above average for the affordable prices and portion is big. Only thing I would improve on is to add shredded ginger to the pork liver. It'll taste a lot better than a bunch of onions. And of course, reduce the gravy a bit more to make the dish more flavourful. Ngoh Hiang was so good I tapao for mum! Best eaten with a bunch of people so can order more items!

Fantastic hard to find boneless seseme oil chicken. The sambal kang king is also a good addition. The portions are worth it for the price. Highly recommend.

Went during off peak as is always full. Order 2 claypot and chawanmushi. Seafood and pig liver with kidney. Kidney soft and fatty for lovers is not fully cook till dried. Take a seat order pay and wait.

Ordered the sesame oil chicken, sambal ladies fingers, sambal sotong with ladies finger, sliced fish herbal soup and homemade ngoh hiang. The sesame oil chicken was the dish I was looking forward to. However it turned out to be underwhelming and lacked sesame oil fragrance and taste. I had it many years ago at the serangoon outlet and it left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the standard at this punggol outlet pales in comparison. The sliced fish herbal soup was the best dish out of all we ordered. Sambal ladies finger was slightly undercooked. Sambal sotong with ladies finger and homemade ngoh hiang were decent.

Visited this place as it was recommended by my friend and ordered these dishes. The good food was sadly hindered by the staff as my friends and I were the last table that were still eating. We felt uncomfortable and pressured by the staff staring at our table clearly indicating that they wanted to clear our table to get on with closing the store even when we were trying our best to finish the food asap. Other than the minor issue, the food was good and served rather quickly upon order. Would recommend the sesame chicken, ngoh hiang and any of the herbal soup dishes

Been waiting for awhile to come to this place and finally had a chance to be nearby to try it. This place was highly recommended by fellow punggolians so had to try. The kidney/liver soup is a little too porky for me. The pork smell is really quite bad. Not sure if it’s not washed properly or it’s just the feature. The chicken comes in diced instead of parts. Suspect frozen chicken but then again, it’s the chicken ban period, so can’t fault them. Taste is so-so. The only saving grace is the ngo-hiang. Highly recommended it. Don’t order the milk tea, the pic shows the original volume it came in - half glass. Aunty won’t make it thicker and more. She said she can add hot water to fill it up but it will dilute the taste. Thanks for the honesty.
