Just newly opened in April. Their pea rice is extremely fragrant and their dory is really nice! Marinated well. Love that they have the mango on the side. The sourness helps with the spicyness. Gem in a hdb.

Quite value for money for Father’s Day set (egg fried rice, Tom yum soup, mango salad, 3 chicken wing and 1 chicken thigh). Added on thai fish cake and 1 fried tofu and Thai basil chicken rice. The highlights are the Tom yum soup and mango salad, alongside with non-oily fried rice. Fried chicken was done quite well too, but fried tofu could be better. Would come back to try their Nasi Lemak blue rice series and Thai food.

This is the chicken thigh Nasi Lemak ?? with additional chicken wing. The chicken is very well marinated and fried to perfection. I love the crunchiness of the ikan bili and roasted peanuts ? which goes very well with the fluffy blue pea rice. ? The Thailand salad at the side ? is very refreshing with onion ? and mango ? drizzled with a special Thai Salad sauce. The ladies at the store ? were friendly. They also accept CDC voucher and Fave! Another ? in the neighborhood ?

Awesome Authentic Thai Cuisine tucked away in Yishun. What a rare find. The Basil Chicken, TomYum soup are such a rare find outside of the land of smiles. Now I know where to go to satisfy my craving for Thai food during this lockdown times. ? well done

@lavendernasilemak a THAI inspired locally infused Nasi Lemak. What unique different about their nasi lemak is that they use blue pea coconut rice along with Thai mango salad and instead of the usual sweet and thick sambal chilli, here is a tangy type of robust in flavours chilli that went well with the rice. Blue pea rice to me is always a gimmick as I hardly taste any different from normal rice but here @lavendernasilemak I am pleasantly surprised by the nice rice aromatic infusion of pandan and coconut milk. What really stood out is the texture of the rice. It wasn’t mushy at all, and I can taste every individual grain, a mark of well cooked and high quality rice. The Mango salad is refreshing and not too sourish which help balance the dishes. What I tried, Fried Chicken Thigh. The chicken thigh is simply scrumptious. Not only was the portion large, but the chicken is fried till perfection golden-brown yet retaining its juices and tenderness. Enjoy with the side of a crispy deep fried egg and crunchy anchovies and peanuts is indeed palate pleasing. Chilli Fish Set The thai chilli fish is definitely impressive. Fried until golden brown and is very thick, flaky and meaty. Every piece well coated with a appetising glaze of Sweet Thai Chilli sauce that added that kick of spiciness. Every bite of it is simply delectable. I really enjoyed this lemak explosive experience that shock my taste bud and I would glad have it as often when nasi lemak craving kicks in. Tried out a few dishes from this place. The first thing that strikes you is the blue colour rice. The blue colour came from lavender. The lavender lend a interesting and unique flavour to the rice. Definitely an interesting take and we think it goes nicely with the rest of the ingredients. The chickens cutler is a whole chicken thigh. It is juicy and tasty. They fried until it is crispy on the outside. Good chilli. Came with prawn crackers too. Five stars for this dish. Also ordered the pineapple fried rice. Nice. Choked full of flavour. Another five stars. Also had the fried dory fish in sweet and sour sauce. Fresh fish. Nicely fried and then doused in generous amount of sauce. Tasty and well balanced flavour. Another five stars. Next we also ordered the grilled chicken thigh. For this we gave only four stars because the flavour is not that deep. Lack of flavour. Yeah, we ordered takeaway. They packed all the sets in nice brown paper box. No drop in flavour for takeaway. Useful during this pandemic/endemic period. Overall good experience. Can try.

Came across this stall that sell Thai fusion Nasi Lemak. Ordered set 2 which is the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken thigh and egg. I quite like the blue pea rice because there was a nice coconut aroma and the mango salad is something new on a Nasi Lemak to me. It’s sweet, refreshing, not overly sourish too, and it has a pleasant pairing with the sambal chilli and blue pea rice. The chicken thigh was freshly fried and it was very tender and delicious! Overall I’ve enjoyed this Nasi Lemak and definitely will be back to try their Thai Basil rice! ☺️ **And don’t forget your Kopitiam card to enjoy further 10% off. ?
