★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars because the zi char is affordable and taste decent. Service is fast and the servers are polite too. Default place that we go to for a meal or takeaway if we don't cook dinner. Try the yam ring if you are a fan of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pricing of the zi char here is reasonable and the food is quite yummy. We enjoyed the pork leg bee hoon, and the Cai po omelette was quite soft. We also had the baby Kai Lan, which was nicely seasoned and very garlicky. Not like the kind of place you'd eat and go "wah awesome I super love it". It is good though. Would say it's more of a 3.8 than a 4. The service was quick, we didn't wait long for our food. Despite tt, the food came hot, and didn't feel like it was re-fired.

erm ... the teh-si needs improvement and the Kaya toast is so so only. But i see most people order wan tan mee or the char siew & shao rou rice. =)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother ordering from the ban mee store. Thought it would be a safe option but never have I had such a bland ban mee before. Not only was the noodles undercooked, soup was bland, ikan bilis was a gross chewy texture and the meat (little there was) was poorly seasoned. Even the egg tasted odd, or perhaps I'm just grossed out by the overall taste.
