Lazy Sloth & Drunken Sloth - 41 E Coast Rd

Liked the relax ambience & decor with stuffed soft toy sloths hanging everywhere in the place. If u r in a lazy mood tis may be the right place for u. Happy hour Erlinger beer@$8.80 each pint. The menu looks interesting & I may be back to try. The staff r friendly & courteous.

Chanced upon this place today. Simple place with not much frills.. but good value happy hour beer deals. Wine bottle prices are decent as well. Only food we had was the mala mash with fries, mala flavor could be more pronounced but otherwise alright.

Didn’t know about this place until recently though we frequent the Joo Chiat / Katong region frequently. It’s been an year that it’s opened, and I strongly feel missed out on not finding this sooner. Went there on a Sunday primarily for a Negroni and it was solidly done. And @2 for $20, it’s quite a good deal in the locality. Apart from the cocktail, we tried a Virgin Mojito, Nachos, Chargrilled Burger and Spaghetti - all well done and deserve an appreciation. We were on level 1 and on a table flanking the road as we generally like open air settings and wanted classic cocktails. If you’re more keen on closed settings and are in the mood for speciality cocktails there’s a level 2 (haven’t yet tried though). All in all, an evening at this place was quite cheerful and I’d recommend it for everyone looking for a perfect mix of quite+fun evening in Katong. All small joints can do with our love, more so during these times.

Environment: chill & cozy. pet friendly ,high chairs and table . Food presentation: good. can do better Food taste: food is good. i love the carbonara . portion is more than the usual. Service: prompt, waiting time on Friday eve was about 10-15mins . Staff: the filipina staff was accommodating, and the giy who served us was nice to explain the drinks. although choices are not alot. especially wines. some is not available . Overall: ill give a 7/10. would definitely come back in future. ?

The 2nd level of the Sloth comes with giant plushies, a great music ambience, and a highly engaged bartender; Sky comes equipped with a vest and a keen attitude to boot. He caters to your taste, even to the extent where we could describe our dinner earlier to get an optimal experience. Not to mention he puts in effort to sustain an engaging conversation through the night. 10 out of 10 would come here again.

Great staff! Christine and Skye are wonderful, they share their knowledge of food and bespoke cocktails, and in my experience I’ve not yet regretted a single recommendation that came from them. The food is delicious and the chef always delivers a quality meal. I like that their menu is limited, it shows that they value quality over quantity. Overall, a fabulous place!

Delicious and sumptuous food! Highly recommended! I would be coming back for more. The fish were crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. The fries are were also dipped in batter and my kids totally loved it!

Had their beef patty sandwich for brunch, it was perfect. Love everything on the plate. The mushroom soup is too watery but still tastes nice. The coffee is acidic, not my favorite but it's only $1 with brunch purchase.
