Service 4/5 Food 4/5 Atmosphere 3/5 (but not really their fault) Value 4/5 Not much negative to this experience but at same time nothing really stood out. Service was quick, efficient and to the point. Ambience was a bit lacking but as not allowed music right now due to covid this partially not their fault. The crowd also as a result all couples with most tables filled. What I would say is that not sure if intentional but from outside they look almost closed and have to peer in to see if any tables free….. Menu I think could have had a little more diversity to it. We ordered mixture of deep fried and skewers as well as a fish. The fish was the best thing in the menu, deep fried ok (generic tasting) and the skewers pretty decent. Value is good, happy hour beer always appreciated. As no real standout to this experience and plenty of choice in this area may not revisit for a while though to be honest.

Pretty decent izakaya..small but cosy..love their happy hour skewers that are Buy 2,get 1 additional stick Free.. of all my favorites here, their Shime Saba is my must-have dish everytime I come. Its fillet and cut just right,along with spot-on torch blown skills on the fish itself. Juicy and succulent,it goes perfect with a highball or an Asahi Black pint. Special shout outs to their Chicken Karage,which has a mesmerizing taste to their home-made batter,and also to their grilled Salmon belly,which consists of 2 strips of fish,crispy on the outside and packed with omega-3 oils and savory soft flaky flesh on the inside. You can forgo their Tsukune Chicken meatballs though,as the taste of that is rather nondescript. Quite forgettable. Place can get very packed on weekends doh,as it is abit small. So it pays to book in advance,otherwise u can wait till the cows come home to get a seat. Also can get very very warm and stuffy as their air-conditioning system seems rather weak. My Rating: 7.5/10

A quaint little restaurant tucked away in the East. Skewers of pork and beef came piping hot and lavishly flavoured. Tasty and perfectly done. Ebi Shrimp was super crunchy and yummy. Lovely, friendly warm service. 3 cheers to a wednesday Ladies Night. Sake, Highball on the house!

Happened to visit on wed ladies night got 3 free drinks! Happy hours is a good deal! $5 for beer, sake, sochu and highball till 8pm. Food and service is fast, quite affordable too.

Chance upon this izakaya from maps with a good rating and decided to try. Almost everything was good except the yakiudon which lacks flavour and was just salty. Must order the roasted Onigiri!! So good, comes w bits of fish meat inside and some mayo. The Udon was super hearty, enjoyed every bit. Skewers were ok. Gyoza has nice chewy skin and Crispy on the bottom with juicy fillings. Happy hours high ball going at $5! Worth a visit for sure.

friendly staff. food is ok. ambience is nice. Ordering system is hard for customers to track what was served and not, since its Yakitori, 1 table may have 20pcs or 30pcs of items. price slightly on the high side.

The Saba is surprisingly good!! Oysters are extremely fresh and skewers are tip top! Especially the Wagyu skewers, extremely tender and flavourful with each bite. Love the chicken skin as well, crunchy and juicy at the same time
