β β β β β Brought a belt buckle there to order a custom leather belt to match the buckle. Paid $50+ for a strip of leather for the belt. When done, the leather is so thin like paper and it is so filmy (1-2mm thin) that it could easily damage by folding. How could belt leather be so thin? The staff insisted that it was βno choiceβ and βlike thatβ and said if I wanted it to be thicker, another layer of the leather should be added. Another layer cost me additional $30 and so the final belt without buckle cost $80+. Since I am committed to a layer, I have to go along with it and pay the hefty price. For that price and workmanship, there are plenty of other choices. Overall, the experience was really very disappointing especially when they professed themselves as a leather specialist.

β β β β β The quality of the leather is not good, very flimsy, I repair a belt buckle here by attaching a piece of leather to it and have since thrown the belt away as it was too soft. After the first wear, the piece of leather stretched so much that I can see the grains coming out. I'm a person who knows leather well, and what they're using is what you are usually seeing those crazy horse leather from China taobao brands, not the actual good Italian full-grained ones in my opinion.

β β β β β went this week on monday 20 dec to hopefully get some advise on 2 bags that needed fixing.
first thing the staff mentioned to me was the bags i brought weren't genuine leather, fine. i still decided to leave one bag with them to reattach a broken strap. but when i asked about my second bag - a gift from my husband on our wedding day - that had peeled and flaked, she said 'nobody resores PU leather, PU is for use and throw away one. we repair is luxury repair.'
i just felt so dejected after that based on how i was spoken to, since the bag means a lot to me and i thought even if they are leather specialists, i might get a more productive advice instead of suggesting i had no option but to dispose it.
anyways, i will be waiting 6 weeks to collect my other bag from them. 2 stars is for quick quotation and accessible location.

β β β β β Fixed the strap of my beloved Cambridge satchel, a birthday gift from 10 years ago. the strap was coming off on one side with the leather wearing very thin. The crafter tried her best to find a matching colour of the leather and hardware, there were slight differences but it's not bothering me at all. it's a job well done and though the price was a little higher than I expected, the finish is very close to the original. Very happy with the results and glad to extend the lifespan of my satchel.
