Fantastic traditional shop in Singapore. Makes the most authentic and freshest tao sar pia I have tasted. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!

Since the original 泰茂栈 shop closed, Lee Guan is the next shop that I can get the traditional yummy Teochew mooncake. Bread Talk who bought泰茂栈 brand and recipe cannot make such standard at all.

the pastries here taste really good. Hard to find elsewhere in Singapore. thankfully it is a Nice short walk from Bedok MRT because I don't stay near by.

Very good pastry and also teochew yam moon cake. A must try!

Love their sweet filling as compared to the salty one! Salty version was quite norm to me. The crispy rice cracker was good too (not the very sweet kind)!

Went in search of this traditional teochew delicacy after reading a food review. The shop is tucked away in a quiet HDB estate in Chai Chee. We were very warmly received the sales person who is a family friend of the boss. Intended to just try a few tau sah piah bt spent $100 on 2 boxes of yam mooncake and 20 small tau sah piahs (sweet and salty)+老婆and 老公餅and a couple of other traditional cakes? Freshly baked tau sah piah skin is a little crispy at the base and its sweet filling is smooth (bt not as creamy -like Thye Lee or泰茂盏). The filling for salty tau sah piah has a very fragrant taste?the yam mooncake is also very good - soft, creamy, smooth filling texture with slight yammy fragrance. I'm not a fan of yam but found this pastry too good to miss?

The pastries were fresh and cheap. Damn good. Pls don’t stop doing this. I wasn’t expecting much from the pineapple bar but it was so good. Also there was this ?sweet and salty ball which was good too Brought my own container coz I tabao food to work. I didn’t mind that it was stained from my lunch but they were so kind to wipe it for me tho I didn’t care
