Taste ok. I'm not local even that I could found a better chicken rice out there. Room is ok spacious and full air cond and clean. Taste ok but I'm expecting more details like it served cold (room temperature). If it's warmer should be nicer. And no soup as condiment complimentary.

I must be one of the last to try Hawker Chan. For years, Hawker Chan served his soya sauce chicken rice and noodles at the Chinatown Hawker Centre, enjoying long queues. It is only more recently he expanded into a nice air conditioned at the corner of Smith and Eu Tong Sen Street. As a family, we ordered a range of dishes. They were all good. I highly recommend a visit. Rating : 5⭐ Cost : 1.5?

The soya chicken was yumyum.. most importantly the price is affordable. I like their Charsiew the most.. The location was very remote.. if ure driving a car, you can park at block 335 Smith Street.. multistorey parking.. $1.20 for half an hour.. slightly expensive because crowd area...

หวาน เลี่ยน Personaly, it was just ok trying this once. Any other time, will need to be reconsidered. The place is quite busy and seats are limited. The chicken is nicely soft however it's far too sweet for me. I also ordered some other dishes (Pork ribs and BBQ pork) but again they are not that nice to revisit.

Cheapest Michelin star food you’ll ever find. @liaofanhawkerchan is located in Chinatown, right above a flea market. Honestly, I’ve had better ?? personally, I don’t think they should advertise the fact that they were bonkers a michelin star two years ago. (Not anymore)

WHY YOU SHOULDNT GO: Overhyped place that lost its reason for being awarded one Michelin star a long time ago and there is a reason for that! They still promote themselves as Michelin star store but that was back in 2016. they are not even bib gourmand anymore. Why? Because the rudeness is ridiculous and the taste is mediocre. To be fair the chachiu sweet meat was not bad but everything was way too fatty for our taste and not juicy or any way special enough. We left feeling bad on how we felt after eating it and how we’ve been treated as a guest at hawker. If you love duck or chasiu, give it a try but if you don’t crave it, avoid this place. It’s not worth giving it a try for the sake of falling for this one being a Michelin star. We tried their mix platter.

Chicken Rice (SGD $5) @ Liao Fan / Hawker Chan. . Propelled to fame as the 1st hawker stall to be conferred a Michelin star (and also the least expensive 1-Michelin star meal in the world at the time), Chef Chan Hon Meng might have lost the star, but not the long queues of hungry patrons. . Still going at it everyday, just as he's done before the star. The chicken is wonderfully bouncy and tender, with the chicken meat holding clean sweet savoury notes, while the chicken skin has robust salty savoury nutty flavour. . The rice is fluffy and lightly fragrant with mild grainy sweet flavour, juicy cucumbers, soft braised peanuts, and wobbly egg to complete.

The well-known michellin star chicken rice, taste were fine. Serving portion is quite small compared to the price, they gave us small portion of chicken, and it came with mostly bone. Really expecting more this place, but this place is still good to try.
