Despite my numerous scheduling issues with multiple guests for an event, they managed to put up with all my requests. Good service!

This service is cheap, but it is not professional. They are a middle agent who put you in touch with independent contractors who they have no control over. In short this means you can be subjected to rude and aggressive drivers who attempt to simply make up charges as they go along. No resolution by phone and email ignored. The longer story is as follows. We ordered 2 drivers for my family arriving at the airport. Flight/ disembarkation delays mean't that they were out of the airport later than expected. This should not be an issue for a transportation company with an airport pick up service. The first driver called me when at landing time and asked me to call him when we had left the baggage claim and he would pick us up. Not really an issue, BUT this is NOT a person waiting with a board outside. However as I was there myself to pick them up it wasn't an issue. He then repeatedly called me each time to ask where everyone was which soon got frustrating as his tone became ever more aggressive. He also informed me of the waiting charge for going over time, I had no problem with this. It is something that had already been agreed. When we did come to meet the 2 drivers, the first one said he wasn't waiting for me initially and the second one sat in his car making little attempt to find us. Given that there were a number of cars outside, the sign he was supposed to have would have made it a lot simpler to find him. He was not happy that we weren't waiting right outside the front door, however we were less than 3 meters away from the car in the AC. This serviced was hired for people after a 14 hour flight. I was not expecting that they would have to wait outside. Part of the family was a new born baby whom we were trying to look after and a vast amount of luggage. This clearly made things more complicated and I did not appreciate being rushed to load the cars. He then complained about our wait and moodily drove us to the apartment. Limousine Transport then called him to say I should pay him in cash for the wait time. This is not professional, they then called me to tell me to pay him in cash. I did not want to but didn't have the contract in front of me to disagree with them. I still do not understand why they couldn't have charged my card which they have details for or send me a bill after. I would say this was particularly poor service on their part. Finally they dropped us off. I went upstairs to put all the suitcases and ensure the family were settled in and then came back down to pay the driver. He did not wait and had left already. I then phoned Limousine Transport to say what had happened. He then called and was extremely abusive saying that I should not be so selfish and think of others!? also that I should have paid him on the spot? I do not feel that it is my fault that he did not wait until the end of the service for payment, especially as he was in such a hurry to leave. He then proceeded to try and add another $10 to the bill for him to return for collection of payment. I spoke to Limousine Transport and they said not to pay this, I agreed. Upon his return he still demanded the extra $10 which I refused. I asked for a receipt for the cash. Which for any business should be standard to give a receipt, he refused. In the end he scribbled some illegible words with a pencil on paper and I paid him. I'm not sure many tax authorities would count this as a proper receipt. I then called LT to complain, I was told to write them an email, which I did. I have then heard nothing further from them. Please take my experience as a word of warning. The other driver was fine and you may well have a good experience, but do not expect anything more than what Uber or Grab or Comfort Del Gro can offer you. In fact go with one of those if you want a cheaper price.
