Pig Trotter Rice set with large intestine. From the same people who brought us 百年 yong tau fu. This is a welcome addition to the Singapore hawker landscape and their offerings can easily capture both the young and old with their collagen rich pig trotter. I gotta say I am tempted to ordering the whole pork trotter one of these days.

Ordered their pig trotter rice ($4.90) and also additional large intestines ($4). The size of the bowls were much smaller than I expected. Taste wise, it was quite savory and the rice tasted even better when mixing the oils from the intestine bowl. However, it is unlikely that I will return to eat it again soon..

Nice pork trotter rice, meat tender (not dry), skin fatty with enough collagen, not jelak. Big intestines cleaned properly without any pig smell, tender without being unchewable. Would go back to try their mee sua soon. $4.90 for the pig trotter rice and $4 for the portion of pig intestines.

This place pig trotter would be similar to those at the bak kut teh shops. The pig trotters were cooked till nice and tender, its meat was well soaked with the sauce. It came along with some salted vegetables and a small rectangular piece of fishcake of sort (which was quite good). Ordered an extra portion of big intestines. They were plum and tasty. Overall, satisfying lunch??

Chili taste like chicken rice chili which goes well with the pig trotter rice dish. Trotter was tender and well braised. Rice was well cooked and salted vegetable is salty enough to provide extra dimension to the dish. Portion was generous with just 4.90. Nothing much to complain about it but personally not a fan of light braise.

Affordable braised pig trotter rice at $4.90. Braised sauce is quite light and savoury, not heavy on the spices. Meat is very tender with a good balance of fats and lean meat. Chilli dipping sauce has balanced acidity and spiciness. Overall, not bad. Be prepared to queue during lunch hour.

Saw the stall over the weekend and long queue. Decided to give a try today during lunch and the queue is not too long. Ordered the $4.90 pork trotter rice set, that comes with the meat, preserved vegetables and a small piece of meat cake. I would have prefer them to have options for egg too. The taste is exactly how I like it, which is very much like the Thai style pork trotter rice I enjoyed in Bangkok. No smell of pork too. The chilli is spicy and nice. I have also noticed on the tray printed "百年”, so I would assume the owners also owned the Yong Tau Foo stall as well. Will come and try their other items the next time.

Not bad place for Teochew style pork trotters. $4.90 a set of trotters bento is good. If you fee like splurging on a good meal, go for the 元蹄 for $18/$24 that has a good portion of lean and fatty skin. If you go for $10 猪蹄 it will be bones and skin. Or like what the aunty says, collagen! Both are good. The salted vegetables are a tad too salty, can skip imo.
