β β β β β If you can get passed the communication issue with the staff at The Little Hanoi and get the right dish that you want, you will be rewarded.
Certainly the one dish to go for is the Pork Belly Banh Mi. Absolutely delicious with a great lightly toasted baguette. Good well with the Vietnam drip coffee too.

β β β β β I was Shockley surprise how clear the broth was for a northern style Vietnamese pho. The broth was well made and the meat was tender.
My friend order pork egg roll with vermicelli noodle. She like it was especially with the fish sauce with tons of chili in it.
I wouldnβt go out of my way to go here, but if you are looking for decent pho this is the place.

β β β β β Most authentic Vietnamese food in town: bΓΊn chαΊ£ (grilled/ BBQ pork noodle), bΓ‘nh mΓ¬ (pork/ chicken/ ham pate baguette/ sandwich), and affordable prices. Located at the Food Republic down at basement of Shaw Center, Orchard, at a big corner after a short stairs. This food court is also very special in style... Love that you have hand washing Sinks with soap at all corner. Very clean!

β β β β β I somehow feel that the food quality is not the same as it used to be. The beef pho soup does not have the oomph. It has no taste and saw a previous patron leave a whole bowl unfinished. I understand why.
The bun cha is ok - the grilled pork, meatball and spring roll were decent. If only their accompanying sauce had a bit more flavour.

β β β β β A decent buncha in the basement Isetan! With lots of smokiness to the meat that goes super well with the sour cold soup. Plenty of char bits left in the soup afterward.
Will be back.
