Quite authentic pho which I tried . The broth is good although the beef strips were a little harder to chew on. Ice tea was too diluted to my liking. Overall economy experience and food is ok. First timers can try out but probably skip the drinks.

Affordable and nice Vietnamese dishes next to Bugis mrt. Recommend the iced coffee and fermented beehoon/white noodle. The crabmeat thick noodle tastes creamy, the crabmeat is juicy but portion is less than expected (and the price too). Will come back once in a while when I am near downtown area.

Was there for a quick lunch last Saturday. This little eatery was packed. Lots of native Vietnamese eat there. However don’t expect service, to some extend you need to self serve. Manned by mother & daughter (I think), one chef and the other takes order & cleans table. So expect to wait even if your order is taken. Ordered 3 bowls of beef pho. Authentic soup base. I find it a refreshing flavor as they have lemongrass. The tiny beef balls were flavorful. Portion was decent for the price. The Viet drip coffee with milk was a tiny cup. Need to ask for extra cup of hot water. Viet ice tea was nothing to shout about. More like iced water as tea flavor was very very mild. Will probably be back if I’m in the vicinity & not in a hurry. Worth a try I must say.

Honest review. Nothing special. Food so so. Ice Coffee $5.came like 2/3 full with lots of ice in a small cup. Disappointing. Ordered $3 Hot coffee with milk came black coffee and charge me extra for milk. The bread is expensive and nothing special.

Ordered a beef pho and chicken banh mi. The beef pho was Super good, goes well with a big squeeze of lime and a splash of fish sauce to amp up the umami. We requested for no skin/fats in the chicken banh mi but the request was not delivered. Overall taste was below average as well, tasted mostly of butter and the pickled vegetables didn’t have the kick. We reflected this to the owner who decided not to charge us for the banh mi. Four stars for the beef pho and the attitude of the owner.

I came here for their ốc(various snails/shellfish) and it wasn’t too bad, so I decided to stop by this time for their other dishes. The name says they specialize in shellfish, so I didn’t expect too much. They have an extensive menu of traditional Vietnamese dishes. I ordered their bún riêu(Vietnamese crab soup) and bánh khọt. The crab soup was okay, they have all the ingredients and flavors, but it was nothing special. Their bánh khọt was more unique for me since I haven’t had it in a long time. I enjoyed it. I finished off with a tamarind drink which was quite refreshing. Overall, it’s not bad. If you like more unique dishes, I’d go here.

You know this place is legit when the chef/waitress and most of the customers are Vietnamese. No frills alfresco dining, best to come in the evening when sun's down. Best to visit just after it's been raining. That's what we did. ? It was a weekday evening. Many patrons around us were speaking in Vietnamese. We ordered what you see in the photos. Mango and prawn salad 4/5. Sour n sweet n freshness was balanced. It would have been perfect for me if they added chilli padi. Cos I love spicy food. 无辣不欢. Fried chicken wings 2/5. They were just the mid wings. They were deep fried well. Just your normal fried chicken wings. Could have been more flavorful. Cockles with onion n oil 5/5. Yummy! Served with fish sauce. Cockles were grilled upon order. Fragrant n satisfying. Just yum yum cockles. Noodles with squid, prawns and roasted pork in broth 5/5. I would return just to have that. Broth was flavorful. Seafood was cooked just right. Roasted pork was woooomama! Perfect comfort food. Fish & chips 4/5. Well deep fried (breadcrumbs type). Kids would love this while the adults enjoy the exotic dishes. Fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. Coleslaw tasted like homemade, not factory made. Decent sized fish. Would surely return to try other dishes on the menu. No photos: fish & chips and mango salad.

Tried their pho like finally as it’s always crowded. I’m surprised by the price, it’s a little pricey considering their store is non air conditioned and it’s by the walk way. Simple and straightforward kitchen set up that you can see how your food being prepared when you place your order at the counter. It’s self service. In store they also sell lots of vietnam local delights such as sauces, noodles and other dry stuff. The pho came, nothing to wow about. The soup is ok, but not the beef. It’s gamey and it’s unlike the usual sliced beef I had. The beef balls has a spongey texture instead of the usual meaty beef balls I had. Love their chilli it’s very spicy! We also order chicken pho but it came with very boney chicken parts not shredded chicken. Fresh spring roll is ok.
