★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have frequented this place for more than 5 years now. Quality is always the same! Service is decent but the winner for me is the food for sure! Couldn't find a picture of the Fried Fish Skin that I normally order too. That one is the bomb!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried a few items. The Fried Fish Fillet rice 鱼扒饭 is very good (do not have the kind of fishy smell) especially their special chilli, fresh and spicy ?. Also their stirred fried spicy beef and 三杯鸡，i like it alot. Chives dumpling is not bad, a little too oily though. Will return to try other food.

OK, I used to love this place, rated 4 out of 5 stars.
Unfortunately, you failed me this time.
I ordered MaPo Doufu. Some part of the dish is cold, while the rest is siring hot. Apparently it was not freshly made. It must be from fridge. I hope owners from LiuSan see this thread. And try to improve their food quality. I rate so low wishing to help you do better.

I have no complaint but price.
But compare with other very mediocre Taiwanese food, Id rather visit liu San and pay a few more dollars.
Try their noodles and chive pancake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard my colleague at work that this is a good place for beef noodles. Turn out it is tasteless and expensive. A tiny bowl for $8. Lady taking order at register is impatient, wait is pretty long considering there is no crowd. If u like such Taiwanese beef noodle, go to basement of Isetan Scott's food court. So much better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feb 2020. Nicely presented and delicious dishes. I ordered bean paste noodle (炸酱面) because my wife decided not to cook for me.
Could have been a better experience if not for the grumpy lady at the cashier. She might be the boss. She was not rude, but curd, unforgiving and service without a smile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good bowl beef stew noodles. I liked the noodles texture and the fresh chilli paste was awesome!
The oyster omelette was so-so. The pop corn chicken was fairly decent though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food standard didn’t improve from the last I visited a few years back. The beef noodle is rather tasteless and plain. the portion is quite small as well. Ice lemon tea was shockingly horrible taste.
