Last visit was 10 years ago. Taste remains the same and brings back a sense of nostalgia when I was still a student. Laksa and mee rebus can be one of the best in Singapore!

Queuing and ordering system is organized and systematic. Meal times are usually crowded. I have tried their mee siam, laksa, nasi lemak, chee cheong fun. All tasty. Finally decided to try the ondeh ondeh cake. At $9 per piece, think is a tad overpriced but still worth a try!

No expert here but think 4 star rating is perfect for Nonya. The Laksa is very nice with a strong coconut flavour and umami finish. I don’t think it’s particularly standout (think I prefer Terry Katong in Bukit Timah Food Centre), so certainly wouldn’t Queue for it. The portion size for the price is expensive, but if you’re okay with that then cannot go wrong with Nonya.

Came here on weekend later afternoon. No crowds. Ordered mee siam and laksa. Saw food being microwaved, it is a no go for this reputable outlet. The mee siam is sour enough and laksa is flavourful. But after one hour, drink plenty of water...yuks msg laden food. Did not expect msg from a famed nonya food outlet.

Prices keep going up but taste and quality doesn’t seem to be. Nasi kunyit rice was a little hard and flavour was a little lacking and too much of the taste of cloves. Laksa at $6.50 is pricey considering it is just egg, a few fish cakes and taupok. Sago gula melaka was extremely sweet and a little watery.

Laksa and Mee Siam was good, but not worth queuing up 45mins for on a weekend morning. Could see that they had a lack of manpower with only 2 guys in the kitchen and seems like they prioritised the Grab food orders as well. So the queue outside of the stall was quick to grow but also stopped moving for some time. I gave my order and had to wait 10-15 minutes until I could collect my order. Many people would also takeaway 3-5 orders so that resulted in a longer wait time as well.. rather frustrating if you’re in a rush.

Around for 40 years and now spearing the nonya spread by 02nd & 03rd generation. Laksa was out of the world! Bringing back of my grandma taste…. Humble stall but big favours! A must to try for lunch or if u r around here, do consider packing their laksa or chendol.

Happen to stumble upon this hidden gem today for lunch. The service at the counter is fast and smooth. The staff and super friendly too. Got the lime juice and the dry fish ball noodles. Honestly a filling and simple lunch. ? can't complain; value for money.
