Friendly neighbourhood cafe, comfortable air conditioned premises, and affordable neighbourhood prices. Has a chic yet homely feel, with cute decor items across the entire space. Staff are friendly and affable, and overall very pleasant environment. They even go the extra mile and have the folded paper β€œbin bowls” on every table that make it reminiscent of home. Had the mee siam, along with Kopi-o and then a Teh-o. They use the traditional sock method for tea and coffee, so it’s quite decent. I prefer the teh over the kopi, as the latter was quite tannic (acidic) and not to my palate. Mee siam was good, and they’ve already squeezed the Calamansi lime into the gravy. So if you don’t fancy a tangy mee siam, best to let them know. Overall, good place to chill, unwind and chat.

Cafe serving down to earth hawker food. Food was decent, prices slightly ex for hawker fare but overall spending would be much lower than a cafe serving "cafe food". Good ambience & cozy for a lazy Sunday brunch.

A cosy place just like you are back to your parent home… food is home cooked style, coffee is above average and ample space making you feel relaxing …price is slightly above hawker but with aircon.. definitely worth it.

Chill cafe tucked away inside Leng Kee CC, few min walk from Redhill MRT. Quiet location to meet up with friends and have some local fare. Food is average. Prices reasonable for an air con cafe. Office crowd starts to form at lunch time.

Coffee 4.5/5 - robust and fragrant, especially like their cold coffee where they foam up the local coffee. Curry chicken cutlet rice 3.5/5 stars, curry is fragrant, only let down is the frozen chicken cutlet, maybe better to go with braised pork curry rice. If they are able to make their own chicken/pork cutlet, this dish will be perfect! Prawn noodles 4/5 - lovely prawn soup, huge noodle portion with 2 smallish medium prawns and fish cake. Came back to try the mee siam 5/5 and it did not disappoint, thick lemak sauce with a lovely balance. Their braised pork rice 5/5 was also flavourful and the stewed pork was well marinated. Remember to add a scoop or two of the sambal chilli - container is placed in front of the cashier for a reason ? 5/5 Curry chicken rice was delicious with a nice fragrance. 25/06 - Back for breakfast. Beehoon with assorted ingredients was well seasoned, love it with their sambal. Kaya toast well toasted and crunchy - yums! Unfortunately, I finally found a dish that I don’t like here - their porridge, lacking in flavour and depth, plus it was the grainy type, had to season it myself.

Not a cafe nor hawker. Ru Luo served nice with curry gravy only it’s taste like not daily fresh cooked but acceptable level for places that serve a lot of variety. The pork ribs not so tasty for my liking too.

Love the simple clean coziness of the place. Really good local food in Aircon comfort. Had the prawn noodles soup with pork ribs and it was $8.80. Not exactly cheap but it’s definitely good. The soup was robust and the prawns were fresh and the ribs were plump and juicy. The milk tea is good too!!
