★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great traditional Kaya toast! It was my first time trying it and it did not disappoint... I also really liked the coffee. It was slightly busy, took about 20 mins to get my food. Would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered thick peanut toast, turned out to be a normal toast but cut into a thicker version but it's still not the usual thick toast I had at other outlets. Maybe they changed the type of toast served. The quality of the food does not justify the cost...The drinks quality...won't say much but will be my last visit, hope they can have some improvements. Kthxbye

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service, the reception guy didn’t arrange seats for customers, did not mention anything about whether you should have seats then order, or you should have order then find a seat, so we waiting for so long and in the end the seats been taken by others behind in the queue, then the service guy just said:” then you ask others to give seats to you lah,” this kind of attitude is really showing how bad the service is here. Unacceptable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee and Tea. However the noodle, curry and sandwiches were just so so. And bit costly as you can easily grab it with better taste and cheaper choices nearby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mee Siam is too thick and a little on the sweet side unlike most sold by Muslim stall which are more clear and spicy.
Their coffee is nice and strong as usual and the ham and cheese toast was fresh and crispy. Recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the chicken curry set which consists of the a cake and a drink but they made me wait 10 mins for my food even though there wasn't a queue and did not even give me my cake. Disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many cafes serving the local version of coffee and tea. Toast box in my opinion served the best, though it’s not cheap compared with the usual coffee shops. But if course with the air con and nice indoor seatings, it’s going to be more expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Toast Box that serves mee siam! I didn't realise how hard it was to find until I went to three in a row that didn't have it. Hardboiled eggs are done perfectly too, not boiled until the yolk is totally dry (looking at you, Tiong Bahru). Quieter than the average Toast Box with trees and a fountain outside.
