★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They ran out of grouper so ordered batang. Fish portion was generous and fresh. A bit over cooked and became hard. Soup was quite bland to my taste. Sauce was average. Always have a long queue but moving fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really really don't understand the queue... Soup tasted average.. Fish was Batang fish so tasted better than a general food court fish soup... I will eat again only if there is no queue or very short queue..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this fish soup stall uses Szechuan pickle veg (榨菜)as soup base. hence, tends to be salty and MSG rich.
big and thick slices of batang fish, well seasoned with corn flour, so very smooth.
overall, is just a regular fish soup, nothing great. rich in MSG. not my bowl of fish soup.
am just glad that they do have a good fan base. Long Xing fans! it is very much depending on you to keep it going. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh fish and cooked to the right texture, soup could be even better though. The soup is not sour like others. The soup here will not give you the throat irritation unlike places that add sole fish. $5 gets a nice portion unlike some places. The stall to try when you are around the vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Fish Soup, soup come with a clear base but was flavourful. Generous big slice of fish is given. Expect some waiting time during lunch crowd when a long queue will always be formed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The long queue made me curious and I did not regret it. The Batang fish soup with rice was delicious at a reasonable price. Perfect for a cool day, the dish came with several pieces of fish, tofu, and vegetables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thick slices of fish seasoned just right. Of note, thin bee hoon was smooth and cooked al dente with a great bite (almost seemed like mee sua). Fried fish was decent but would defo advise to go for the fresh batang! Only gripe is they don’t have fried egg which some other fish stalls offer, but still a great fish soup. Was also served by a very friendly auntie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for the seafood soup ($5.50) and was completely blown away by the generous portions! 2 huge and fresh prawns and both fried and sliced fish with vegetable and tofu- this soup was packed to the brim with the good stuff. Overall the soup was delicious and there really isn’t much to complain. Sliced fish was thick and chunky but a little over cooked.
Probably the most popular stall around with non-stop queue. But they serve super quick so the queuing time is short.
