While the batang fish soup, bak chor mee & mee siam stalls at AMK Teck Ghee Court Market are very popular and good, my favorite still goes to this Old Song Kee Prawn Noodles Soup. Located at one end of the market, I find their prawn noodles soup is umami sweet & not too overpowering. It's this kind of broth that reminds me of the good old days prawn noodles soup ~ clear, sweet & flavourful! A bowl costs $3, $4 or $5. Prawns are fresh and peeled and comes with pork slices and beansprout. Like I said, simple but good old school comfort! Sorry, I couldn't wait to enjoy the noodles the moment I sat down that I forgot to take pictures of it...haha greedy me. To redeem myself, I asked the friendly stall owner Auntie permission to take a photo of her at her stall, which she happily agreed. I will shoot the noodles next time ok. Or maybe some of you can share your photos of their noodles here :) They also sell Laksa, but which I have not tried, I can't comment :) Maybe some of you can :)
