★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I studied Chinese on and off for 5+ years and not really seen any growth.
LTL is a really great school. I have been taking online classes with them for 3 months. The staff is really amazing and professional. They helped me boast my confidence in speaking Chinese and helped me with studying for the HSK test.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Flexi Classes to study with LTL during most of the pandemic after originally study with them in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei before the pandemic.
I have a background in Asian Art so LTL has been great because they offer not only Mandarin but also Japanese, Korean and other languages. This has allowed me to broaden my horizons not only on a language basis but also for my job.
Flexi Classes are a great addition to LTL and I recommend to anyone who also wishes to study east asian languages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking the Flexi Classes online and really like the concept. There are classes every day for every time zone and for all levels. I tried it first with the 3 free classes promo and have been booking more after. Teaching materials are really good. Zoom is used for the class. Price per class is really good, class size is small, usual max 3. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This website is exactly the one I was looking for to brush up my Chinese. I just wish I had found it earlier. So far, I've had three different teachers, and all of them were very engaging and great at making me speak and practice new sentence patterns and new vocabulary. I know that it is possible to keep the same teacher from one lesson to the other, but I think I will keep on changing, because I believe that learning with slightly different teaching styles and with teachers from different parts of China is also what makes this website's teaching experience interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a course in basic Mandarin and I must say that it's the first time I participated in an online language course. For me personally the best thing about LTL is the way I can book courses is very flexibly. So for example I can take classes from home in the evening after work or whenever I have free time. I can pause a week if I want to or I can take more classes per week when I have more time. It totally adapts to my own time schedule. Another great thing is that the teachers are all very friendly and supportive and they pay much attention to the individual progress of each student. I could always ask questions and the teacher would explain it for me. Afterwards I would receive a pdf with all the individual notes we took during class which is super helpful for reviewing since I can focus on the class and don't need to take too many notes alongside. Also you are not limited to booking complete courses that take place over several weeks but can also just book single lessons on topics that interest you most.
I think I will definitely book more lessons as I progress in my language studies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now in the pandemic, LTL flexi classes gave me the opportunity to talk with language teacher online(Chinese and Korean for me). I find it easy to navigate the website and to choose the lesson fitting my level, get to read the work material before I book the class, so I can prepare for the class. During the class we go through the material together and the teacher adds all the additional vocabulary/sentences. Later I can download the pdf again and work through it. I also tried one 1-on-1 class, which I used for talking and getting better in my pronunciation. The teachers are helpful and try their best to make the class active as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I studied with LTL in Shanghai a couple of years back just before COVID shut down borders.
Since then, I have wanted to get back to studying Chinese. So I signed up for Flexi classes with LTL - and I am really impressed with the sign-up flow and the platform itself! It functions so well, and things just work as you expect them to (things like timezones that are automatically adjusted to your location and so on) and I really like the credits system. And being able to effortlessly subscribe my calendar to the booked classes is really great. The teachers at LTL are as always extremely nice and good at what they do! This is an exciting way to be able to continue progressing my learning until I can finally go back to China to study again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking the online LTL Flex Classes for several months and have been really impressed with both the teachers and the course material. One big advantage of the program is the opportunity to learn from different teachers and students from around the world. The teachers emphasize speaking and add personal insights into how the vocabulary in the lessons is used in real life. In my journey to learn Mandarin I have sometimes felt discouraged by my progress with other Chinese learning web sites and teachers. The LTL teachers provide just the right amount of encouragement to make me feel okay about the normal ebb and flow of progress for learning a new language.
