LTL Mandarin School Singapore - #04-95 Hong Lim Complex

I have been a student at LTL for over 2 months, and I intend to keep studying with them for 2022 and beyond. Each week I spend multiple hours with 老师 （teacher) Timothy, and i can confirm that he is a high quality teacher, with many years of experience and a capability to teach at any level. He is patient and highly organzied with an endless amount of materials to support my learning goals. I understand the other teachers in Singapore are of a similar quality. Further, the adminstration behind the teaching is also well organized and supportive where needed. Besides the direct positive experience i get from the teaching, knowing this is part of the broader LTL system, I look forward to doing study trips and work in other Chinese teaching cities when traveling becomes easier. I am very hapy with LTL and would recommend it to any one interested in increasing their Mandarin Chinese Level - I had been learning Chinese for about 18 months before starting with LTL and did an assesement when begining to determine where to start relative to my goals

I had a really great experience with LTL Singapore! My Chinese has improved a lot in the last 6 months. I studied a hybrid of online and offline classes with LTL Singapore and their Flexi Classes program. This hybrid course allowed me to have a flexible schedule when studying online, which I needed with my work schedule, and then I practised 4 hours in-person on Saturdays. It was great to have a course at my level, with the flexibility to change intensity depending on my schedule. LTL's teachers are excellent and have made learning Chinese very enjoyable! Would recommend 10/10!

I stayed for two months in a homestay and took private lessons. The homestay was great and my worry was about too much English but actually this defied my expectation. It was truly immersive and great fun. I learnt a lot and will come back again later this year

I love the LTL Mandarin School online classes. They give me the chance to study wherever I am. Even when I am stuck in China during quarantine. The classes can be booked flexible, and the teachers are professional and very friendly. A big thank you to the team!

I studied in LTL back at the start of 2022, and by far, this has been the most accommodating school out of the ones I’ve been to. Staff was extremely helpful, the teacher I got paired with was really patient and professional, and the whole experience helped me progress much more than I thought I would back when I booked the program. I studied at LTL back in 2020 and had a great time! Everything was prepared in advance and arrival was smooth. Had my doubts at first, as I haven’t really studied in private schools before, but the small size of the group convinced me and the supportive staff won me over, and I decided to try it out. Happy to say I wasn’t disappointed!

I highly recommend this school for learning Chinese. I previously had attended two other schools and found LTL to be the best for my needs to pass the Chinese proficiency test. I worked with an incredible group of teachers during the year I spent learning Chinese at LTL. I felt the school was so effective that I had my son continue to learn Chinese with them after we returned to the US.

I have studied at LTL for about two years and had a great experience. Teachers are super professional, speak good English and tailor the lessons to suit you and your learning needs. Everyone is really nice and evening classes are at convenient times and remote classes can be tailored to your schedule. I think what I liked most was the customisability of the curriculum according to your needs and the general flexibility on when and how to take classes. Although they do have a solid curriculum to follow in a normal case, I can discuss with my tutor the topics I would like to talk about. While I am not a beginner, I was still pretty undirected and knew my pronunciation was not good. My teacher has done wonders to help string together my words and straighten out my wrong pronunciation. Because of this flexibility, I think it doesn't matter whether you are an advanced Chinese speaker or a total beginner, the school will be able to help you. If you have any Chinese aspirations at all - just call and have a trial lesson. With some dedication, the school just might be your ticket to fluency ;)
